- We made it to the town of Ilulissat, Greenland. It is the third biggest town in Greenland and is about 250Km north of the Arctic Circle. We will give you a tour of the cute little town and will talk you about the Greenlandic people. We will show you our amazing room with views of the icebergs. Wow, that really is such a stunning hotel, the view really is so incredible! You could easily sit there all day watching the ice move about! Who would have though the towns in Greenland would be so vibrant!
It was an amazing view. We got a bottle of wine and just watched the icebergs go by from our room for a few hours. It was great.

The people hibernate during the winter. They pretty much just sleep the whole time since it’s dark for 24 hours a day. I couldn’t imagine being there during the winter.

Planning to go there later this year. What period was this vlog made? Looks to me there is still some snow lying around but not too cold anymore. (Don't like the mosquito's, so don't want to go in the middle of the summer). Great video, thanks for sharing.
We went the last week in May and the first week of June. The weather is pretty nice. There was very few tourist and there was no mosquitoes. The one thing you have to worry about if you go this time of year not all the activities may be available because it’s during their shoulder season. We are fortunate that in June most activities in Ilulissat started up.

amazing place to visit, but boy i cannot imagine living here at all. Incredible views over the water and icebergs. so cold though! and barely a person to be seen anywhere!
There definitely is not a lot of people here. Everyone knows everyone. It was funny, by the end of one week all the locals seemed to know us. It’s definitely a neat place to visit.
I have family in that town

I am so incredibly drawn to Greenland. I tend to think it was my home in a former life. I really need to get there.
It is an amazing place that you have to go an experience to really appreciate it. I definitely recommend checking it out.
many had known it in their former lives as home... mostly, as a bird or seal, which is a fairly recent and remembered life for many humans...
it is amazing how much of the worlds traveling wildlife chooses those fjords as the one place to call permanent home.
