Also would love to hear you guys talk about settings if you haven’t already for example I’d love to hear your opinions on camera drag vs moving the corner of the screen for better awareness when team fighting as I will learn camera drag if it seems optimal

    Since i think GamerDad will read this i will give you the Immortal Urgot jg guide -
    Pta, overheal, bloodline/Tenacity, last stand, taste of blood, ult hunter, smite, ghost
    just keep farming till at least 1300g for Tiamat or more and get boots as well, you are full build at Titanic Hydra/Heart steal
    only 1 ping is needed "on my way" spam it on any gank / objective you want
    use ult early, its one of the longest slows in the game
    To gank ghost in with distain and purge em, if they try escape hit em with cc, ult at the right time early/later what eva.
    🍄This shit is busted, look at runes at the end of each game and enjoi 🍄

    gamerdad did a great advice about the lesons who nathan a curtis needs to do for new players. i think most of the new players dont care to learn about x or y champ specific, new players are interested about how to play a role and the importance of good habits on his own gameplay

    • @MickyAspire
      @MickyAspire 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably the same reason people mostly watch team sports/games over 1v1 ones, at the end of the day people like playing cooperatively, despite the negatives

    • @LuckyGnom
      @LuckyGnom 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MickyAspire Team games is just a trend. 10 years ago SC2 was the biggest esports, 15 years ago Quake was the biggest esports, before football chess was the biggest sports.

    • @MickyAspire
      @MickyAspire 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@LuckyGnom What do you mean by big? CS, which was the first proper exclusively team-based competitive game, was "bigger" (as in number of tournaments, earnings, players) than Quake and SC shortly after release. CS could never take off in Asia because Valve demanded a monthly fee at internet cafes. Football/basketball have been massive for so long I'd say it's more than a trend at this point

    I just want to give some honest feedback on this episode. There are many parts where GameDadTV is putting out statements and in my interpretation somewhat schooling you guys on what the game is. I would like you to push back a bit so GamerDadTV can understand that he is ignorant to parts of the game. Like "in low elo ... fundamentals go a long way", "...at the second part of the game ... you become a support player later with Rumble...", "... I died but I know that my mid should've rotated to me.", "you can do this on low level, you can't do this on (high level).", "I can't throw my self into a fight anymore. (by picking comet)" - you get the point. This is misleading (going on what is often mentioned on the bbc podcast and personal experience from climbing from bronze to diamond in 3 years) and it's reasonable to think some people who listen to this assumes it's correct because there is no push back on these statements. I get that it may interrupt the flow of the conversation, but I got no good feeling when someone with immense less knowledge have more say about the game than experts. I will end of by saying just to make it clear - I am not a hater of Curtis, Nathan, BBC or GamerDad, in fact I loved most of this conversation and looking forward for the next episode :)

    • @goldfish6471
      @goldfish6471 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I agree it is hard to listen to those statements, but any regular listener would know that they are not correct. Curtis and Nathan did the right thing in my opinion by biting their tongues - the point of the interview is not to coach GamerDad but to learn about his view points, think about a new perspective and remind ourselves what it looks like to enjoy and have passion for the game.

  • @LegendaryBilly
    @LegendaryBilly 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I found your podcast recently.
    My feedback: here that you have a guest, let they finish their train of thought. Many times you interrupted Mark. I get it tho, you are very passionate about league that you have a lot to say, but let the guest speak cause his ideas are somewhat rarer than yours that can talk in another episode or whatever.
    For example, he was about to praise how well you named the podcast and before he concluded it he got interrupted.
    The episode was good, just sharing my thoughts. I would probably interrupt as well, and this happens a lot with podcasts, it’s not like you interrupted him all the time, just when it was about league, again, I think it’s the passion about the game.

    • @dzdiyos
      @dzdiyos ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Just wanted to pitch in; he coaches Midlane Academy (gold all the way to challenger) and Midlane School (below gold) almost every single day. He has a lot of experience all throughout various elo ranges and helping people progress towards their ranked goals.
      He is also an ex-pro as well as a former coach for Dire Wolves, which Nathan used to manage. In addition, he is a perennial challenger as he does his best to practice what he preaches.
