      Hi, thanks for the question! A major priority for all fertility doctors is to make sure that mom and baby are safe. Twin and triplet pregnancies greatly increase the chance of pregnancy complications as well as the gravity of these complications. So, these days, single embryo transfer is the standard practice at most clinics. Of course, exceptions do exist, and this is absolutely an issue that patients need to discuss directly with their physician.

No, PGT-A testing is used to held doctors and patients identify chromosomal healthy embryos and embryo selection which empowers the doctor and patient to go ahead with a single embryo transfer rather than transferring more than one embryo at a time.
