I'm quite new to. To survive don't stray to far from spawn point. Kill weak fish and dodos close to you. Till you have put a few levels in movement speed and stamina then you can just run from most dinos instead of dieing. Always click bed respawn or random respawn. If you create new character you lose all your levels and engrams dinos become untamed and buildings unclaimed. Start putting some levels into health and carry weight after. Then melee damage. It's odd but I have been where you have I would spawn then just feel like i was getting rekt and have no chance . But that's the game kinder guiding you back to where your strong enough to be. Recently I barely ever die even with low levels and just spawning in. You just gotta follow the steps for abit till u lvl a little and get established. And it gives you time to kinder work out what dinos do what damage. And how much health you might need to survive them. You need to get a bow and arrow. And bolos as soon as you can. With the movement speed levels your bow will work well killing some of the easier dinos. Like those little raptor things that spit poison at ya. Take um out from a distance. Then you can kinder start fighting and taming dinos easier. Bolos work more for parasaurs and smaller dinos I think. As I couldn't use them on a triceratops. I had to climb ontop of a high rock and shoot it with a slingshot to k.o it. Which actually went really well and saved me having to make a gun or tranquilizer darts. And I got a triceratops super early level

Actually, Tek dinos spawn with higer levels than normal ones, so yes, they're better

If you use "Forcetame" on anything, you will be able to ride it, without saddle or it been normally possible
So you can ride an attack drone but not a tapejara on mobile?
tek has great stamina, great in water, and u can spot them easily at night when ur character is primitive
