1. I use OBS for recording, 2. I use videopad for editing (you have to pay for it but you can use CapCut, it’s free) 3. I use a $60 mic from Fifine 4. These vids take around 6-10 hours

Idk what Gorla uses for Thumbnails but photopea is very good for it (it’s free)
