I just wanted to let you know that I absolutely love the fact licensing is important to you and Lindsey! Since I've learned about it I really made sure to prioritize licensed artwork because it's just more ethical. I'm glad you're both sticking with it😊 Honestly, you and Rachel Rae are my comfort diamond painting content, hahah. You really do come across really genuine and I found you through unboxings, but stayed for you and your family, always rooting for you, Adam and the little ones😊 awesome to hear Micah did so good in his new class. I'm sure Conner's transition will go great as well😊

In my opinion I feel you should be over prepared, for the meeting involving your little one. Get the documentation before they ask for it. I used to work in the education system. I have mixed emotions with the system. On one hand I truly feel teachers want the very best for their students. And then there is the system that teachers have to abide by. In my opinion I think your anxiety level will be lessened., knowing you have your doctor documentation. You are the mama!!! And mama knows best!!! Don’t let anyone bully you. I’m rambling as usual. I think you are great. And as for licensing and artist supporting snobs.??? Well you both as well as many others stand up for artists. What if no one did??? My gosh. You put alot of work into the content for the different types of diamonds that DAC offers and it would be heartbreaking to see someone try to beat you to post that content or to copycat. You were the first person that popped up since I started Diamond Painting last march I believe and started watching youtube videos. I fell in love with ALL of your content and have been a huge fan. I love your WIP and chats, your un-boxings, your small shop hauls, and the fact that you do not stick to only ONE company. I love that you try out ALL the shops out there (as long as they sell licensed art which I also love), and its just purely amazing!! Your opinion means a lot to me when it comes to this hobby, and I love that if i have any questions you have no problem answering them for me as long as your able to. I learned how to section my canvas off with washi tape from you. There was a few videos out there who taught that but I felt like yours showed me better then the others. Your voice is soothing and so kind. I can feel the kindness radiating from you and the fact that you do not put yourself in the middle of drama or associate with the drama. I especially Love that part haha. I come to youtube to learn and listen and see how your day or week is going you know. I genuinely care. Oh and by the way please let us know how that meeting goes with the principle, I also feel the same as you, they dont want us to send our kids to school sick but then get mad when they miss so many days of school, it feels hypocritical to me you know haha. Excited to see what you have planned for new content. I always enjoy your usual content. I also love hearing how the the cats are doing, glad they are figuring things out. Sometimes it just takes time as they get to know each other. Happy to hear the new time for school is working out better. I know early mornings are rough here too. I am often putting my son on his bus in the morning still in pj's. 🤣 All the best with the job hunt as well. I don't envy that situation, it's always stressful. 🦋 last week I had finals and I passed them so I’m very happy about that. Though I’ve started this week off not so good. Yesterday I had a little scratchy throat and then today I woke up with a full on fever and a stuffy nose so I am home from school diamond painting and relaxing. The good news is I did get a kit from diamond art club today so I’m very happy about that. Good luck with construction ❤️ and have a good week!!

Hi Katie. Love your WIP and Chats and this kit, as well as your accessories are beautiful. I rarely buy kits from small shops even though some of the kits you share with us are really gorgeous. I live in Victoria Australia and as most of the small businesses are either US or European based and the thought of the cost of shipping sends a shiver down my spine. The Australian dollar doesn’t compare favourably to your dollar or the Euro or the GB£. Most of my kits are DAC or Dreamer Design and the final cost of anything from them is ridiculous. Still, I love most of the kits I buy from them despite the costs. I have a decent stash now so I am trying really hard not to buy anything new. It’s hard! I am working on DAC’s Steadfast Heart 💜 by Milan Art, 56x75cm and I am loving it as it is a good mix of colour blocking and confetti. I have another kit that I drag out when I want to torture myself: Life Above the Fray. I say torture because I have never worked on a kit that is sooo confetti heavy! It is a Chuck Pinson and is 60x80cm. Luckily I am on the home stretch. I know most of this comment is absolute waffle but I just felt like a bit of a chat; putting off the moment when I have to go and make dinner. 😩. A helpful tip, try using toothpicks to help push the putty in the placer. I especially use toothpicks when i use glue dots in my single placers. Main reason for that is i cannot stand to hear metal scrapping against metal haha so toothpicks work!!
Good morning Katie, love your WIP videos. Glad to hear the progress of your children. How old is your kitten? I have a nine year old Doxle ( Dashshund Beagle mix) named Herschel Andromeda Warman. He is so sweet. I am fairly new to Diamond Painting. I purchased canvases from TEMU. TEMU doesn't have Liscensed canvases. But, I am still learning. I did however purchase three from Diamond Art. So, I am interested in getting started on those. Love your videos

I was doing the finishing touches on a Valentine's Day themed coloring page during the video. Glad that everything is going well with school and the fur babies. It sounds like the whole meeting with the principal thing is a formality the school has to do. If I was in your shoes I'd have the doctor's notes in my purse in case the conversation takes a turn south. 🦋

I hate having that much sinus pressure. Allergies really do that to me. I brought in a kitten almost 4 years ago with my senior baby and once we got to the point of tolerance she was the same way as dolce with the younger one for the rest of her life. Sadly now we're looking for a new friend for our younger cat since my senior baby passed. Once they get to the point of tolerance it's a lot easier.🦋

I am still not sure what you mean. I know you are not a medical person or Licensed but you have great insight. I am questioning if I should have been diagnosed with AdHd. I have read about it a bit. Took a online test. It ended up being for Sensa?? I did not sign up. What do you mean executive function. I might not be saying it right, but it sure sounds like me. Question - if you’ve tried Merry Mud (I’ve tried Chit and it’s too soft), if you had to pick one - would Randa’s be as good or better than Merry’s, in your opinion. ? Just curious. I’ve become a glue dot convert in single placer, but haven’t tried Notcher Mothers Mud yet either (she’s out right now). Thoughts?? I have one square to go on my DAC Hot Air Balloon; it’s turning out really cool but I’ll be glad when I’m done! Hi April! Which putty or wax works best is pretty subjective, since we all diamond paint a little differently! I haven’t tried Merry Mud, but I’ve been using Randa’s Crafty Corner putty for well over a year at this point and think the quality is fantastic, and it’s a small business I feel pretty good about supporting as far as ethics and character goes! Other putties I’ve tried and do like include both versions of the Enabler’s Outpost Chit (have you tried both versions? I think v2 might be a little softer than v1), Scentsible by Design, and GemTak from Crystal Trays. All have different textures, so maybe one of those would be a good alternative! ☺️
Hey now! I may or may not wear Crocs from time to time, and am highly offended lol 🤣😉 Also, never hurts to bring any documentation to your meeting. When I still taught SPED, we had a saying that if it wasn’t documented, it didn’t happen. So it is always fine to bring what you have 😊

Hi Katie. Love your WIP and Chats and this kit, as well as your accessories are beautiful. I rarely buy kits from small shops even though some of the kits you share with us are really gorgeous. I live in Victoria Australia and as most of the small businesses are either US or European based and the thought of the cost of shipping sends a shiver down my spine. The Australian dollar doesn’t compare favourably to your dollar or the Euro or the GB£. Most of my kits are DAC or Dreamer Design and the final cost of anything from them is ridiculous. Still, I love most of the kits I buy from them despite the costs. I have a decent stash now so I am trying really hard not to buy anything new. It’s hard!
I am working on DAC’s Steadfast Heart 💜 by Milan Art, 56x75cm and I am loving it as it is a good mix of colour blocking and confetti. I have another kit that I drag out when I want to torture myself: Life Above the Fray. I say torture because I have never worked on a kit that is sooo confetti heavy! It is a Chuck Pinson and is 60x80cm. Luckily I am on the home stretch. I know most of this comment is absolute waffle but I just felt like a bit of a chat; putting off the moment when I have to go and make dinner. 😩. A helpful tip, try using toothpicks to help push the putty in the placer. I especially use toothpicks when i use glue dots in my single placers. Main reason for that is i cannot stand to hear metal scrapping against metal haha so toothpicks work!!

Hi Katie! Wishing Adam good luck on the job hunt. My guy just recently quit his job due to dangerous work conditions and he has an interview today. I was doing the finishing touches on a Valentine's Day themed coloring page during the video. Glad that everything is going well with school and the fur babies. It sounds like the whole meeting with the principal thing is a formality the school has to do. If I was in your shoes I'd have the doctor's notes in my purse in case the conversation takes a turn south. 🦋

I hate having that much sinus pressure. Allergies really do that to me. I brought in a kitten almost 4 years ago with my senior baby and once we got to the point of tolerance she was the same way as dolce with the younger one for the rest of her life. Sadly now we're looking for a new friend for our younger cat since my senior baby passed. Once they get to the point of tolerance it's a lot easier.🦋

So Happy The Boys are doing Great!! So excited to hear about Disney trip. How fun to go with Friends for a change. Its been many many years since I've been to one. Have you thought about doing small videos on what you learned about Mental Health? You come up with things I never heard of. I have had my issues since I was in my 20s. I have had many many different kind of help and therapy. In and out of hospitals. But you always make me think when you talk about yours. I have never heard about spoons. I am still not sure what you mean. I know you are not a medical person or Licensed but you have great insight. I am questioning if I should have been diagnosed with AdHd. I have read about it a bit. Took a online test. It ended up being for Sensa?? I did not sign up. What do you mean executive function. I might not be saying it right, but it sure sounds like me. So many things you talk about is valuable to me. So many questions. LOL Wait till I see my Dr. Think about it.

Question - if you’ve tried Merry Mud (I’ve tried Chit and it’s too soft), if you had to pick one - would Randa’s be as good or better than Merry’s, in your opinion. ? Just curious. I’ve become a glue dot convert in single placer, but haven’t tried Notcher Mothers Mud yet either (she’s out right now). Thoughts?? I have one square to go on my DAC Hot Air Balloon; it’s turning out really cool but I’ll be glad when I’m done! Hi April! Which putty or wax works best is pretty subjective, since we all diamond paint a little differently! I haven’t tried Merry Mud, but I’ve been using Randa’s Crafty Corner putty for well over a year at this point and think the quality is fantastic, and it’s a small business I feel pretty good about supporting as far as ethics and character goes! Other putties I’ve tried and do like include both versions of the Enabler’s Outpost Chit (have you tried both versions? I think v2 might be a little softer than v1), Scentsible by Design, and GemTak from Crystal Trays. All have different textures, so maybe one of those would be a good alternative! ☺️
My partner is obsessed with Crocs & I almost caved to buying a pair just so I could collect the little jibbitz 😅🦋

Hey now! I may or may not wear Crocs from time to time, and am highly offended lol 🤣😉 Also, never hurts to bring any documentation to your meeting. When I still taught SPED, we had a saying that if it wasn’t documented, it didn’t happen. So it is always fine to bring what you have 😊
