    Thanks for the sizing tip. I’m the same size and build as you and have the same issues. I prefer the older limited Nike jerseys but I found a coupon on fanatics and purchased the FUSE limited one for $120.

    Great video, it was very helpful! I have a few questions. When I look at the images of the jersey on the NFL shop or Fanatics, I don’t see the Steelers logo on the jersey. Where did you order this jersey from? Thanks in advance! Go Steelers!

      Appreciate it fam. Thanks for watching. Yeah the one I got was rare. I ended up buying another one for my wife and it didn't have the patch on it. I got it from Rallyhouse because I was about to get it for about $120 at the time. Thanks again for watching. Really appreciate it.

    Ik I’m 4 months late but been in the dilemma if I should size up on the fuses and you just helped me out I’m 5’11 190-200 pounds and u just convinced me XL is the move so thanks man

      No problem fam. Yeah I'm 5'10' 185-190 athletic build and I got the Large at first which is in the video. It was a little tight so, I actually went back and bought a second jersey and got an XL and that fit a whole lot better. Had more room to move and it didn't feel like the jersey was pulling across my chest when I moved my arms. Appreciate you watching.

      Appreciate that fam. Hmm just make size you double check the size chart. Like I said the Large fit me but it was tight across the chest when I raised my arms. I probably could’ve dealt with it but for comfort I ended up getting a second jersey that was an XL and it was more comfortable.

    Wack. If I’m paying 175 for a jersey I want it to be stitched. I really want one of the new lions jerseys too 😭

    • @drippchecktv
      @drippchecktv  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree with you. That's why I'm glad I paid about $130 for mine because I felt that $175 price tag was too high. But They have been going away from the stitched jerseys, not just NFL (MLB), which is dumb but I at least wanted to see what it was about. I'm hoping they change back

      @@drippchecktv it’s crazy to me, man. One of the main reasons people have always bought jerseys is to have the stitched real life on field shit lol. I don’t know what they’re thinking, but it is what it is. Great vid, man.

      @@Thrashman-ye4cf I agree, that's why I always bought jerseys is for the stitching, but with everything, they trying to go the "cheap" route and make more money while saving them money. Appreciate you tapping in family.💯

    For most teams I’d say the limited jersey is the best value. Pay a little bit more, get a nicer jersey with stitched numbers (at least with the previous Vapor jerseys). For Steelers though, the elite jersey is much, much nicer. You get woven sleeves that aren’t printed, and won’t crack or feel over time. Still ludicrous to pay $300+ though, luckily discounts come around fairly often.

  • @matthewg3647
    @matthewg3647 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    I've had the same experience. That awkward fit is largely due to the heat pressed design of the Steelers' yellow sleeves on the non-Elite versions. Its like a big piece of unflexible plastic.

    • @drippchecktv
      @drippchecktv  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah the feeling was weird when I first put it on because I was use to some of the other jerseys. But I still like the Jersey overall but wish they would go back to the stitched version and fit

    My question is are the names & numbers still like a stitched feeling?

    • @drippchecktv
      @drippchecktv  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Fisher_Texas_Guy No, and that is one of the big drawbacks. It’s like a raised heat pressed type. You can feel the numbers but it’s not like the previous versions (which I like) where it’s stitched

    Nice video. Weirdest thing, my block number vapor limited jersey does not have the Steelers logo on the front like yours, i wish it did

    • @drippchecktv
      @drippchecktv  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Appreciate that fam. Yeah there are two different versions of the same jersey. I found that out about 2 weeks ago. One has the logo and one doesn’t. The one that has the logo also fits a little more snug too. I noticed it and looked at the style code numbers and they are different so that’s when I realized it was two different jerseys and fits but still the Nike Vapor FUSE. Weird. Again, appreciate you watching and commenting 💯👊🏽

    The stitching is just an added detail. All of the Vapor limited jerseys are heat pressed/sealed, even before the stitch ones are stitched. Because they are heat sealed, they are chemically bonded to the material and cannot physically be peeled off like the screen pressed ones. Like I said, the old Limited stitch jerseys went through the exact same process, the top stitch was added as an extra detail but if you look at it closely, the stitch itself is not ideal for holding the numbers on alone. If they didn't heat press them first the stitching wouldn't last. My mom is a professional seamstress and I had her do a top stitch on my F.U.S.E. limited jersey and it looks exactly the same as the old limited runs. Even some of the elite jerseys do not have the top stitching, same goes for the players' jerseys. Not all of the NFL teams have that top stitching detail, example is the Bengals. Look closely at their 2023 jerseys...there's no stitching. If you really wanted to, you could bring the F.U.S.E. jerseys to a professional and have them top stitch it since I know details matter. It wouldn't cost too much given that it's just for detail and not for functionality of the piece.

    • @drippchecktv
      @drippchecktv  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unless they changed up the fit from last year, the one I got last year was not as baggy as one of my stitched. I felt the one from last year was a little tighter across the chest area. But they could have changed up the fit for this year? Not sure

  • @SteelFan53

    Jersey looks sick! Are the sleeves still made out of that stupid plastic? My limited from last year has it and those sleeves look like different material, but I could be wrong.

    • @drippchecktv
      @drippchecktv  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks fam. The sleeve is feels plastic, but I think its more of a thick heat vinyl. I didn't get the one from last year so I'm not sure how those are to compare, but overall it's a good jersey. Could be better, especially for the price.
