NCL Pride of America, our day in Kona

Today we experienced our first tender port. Pride of America run it smoothly, tickets were collected in the morning for our time slot, our group number was called over the tannoy system when they were ready for us which was earlier than we expected but that meant more time in port.
We spent of few hours browsing the shops for chocolate and souvenirs and then headed to the Kona Brewing Company for lunch and beers.
After an enjoyable lunch we headed back to the ship for an afternoon by the pool then headed to the Skyline restaurant for dinner. As you will see the restaurants on the ship cater poorly for vegetarians and what they offer in portion sizes for vegetarians is a joke, we did speak to the manager about this who told us it was in the hands of the chef but agreed with us, we ended up going back to the buffet after the glow party as obviously Kasha was still hungry.
