The densification of Dublin is great to see, it's sprawling way too far for its relatively small population as it is...the Dublin urban area is larger than Barcelona's yet feels like a small town by comparison.
The Docklands or Silicondocks it’s amazing how Dublin has changed please newer parts of the city are spectacular. They’re building a metro and a new Luas line
Luas is the tram system, for those to whom the term is unknown. Indeed, at the rate Dublin is expanding to the east, Caer Gybi in Wales will likely become a Dublin suburb! :-) How nice it would be to take the tram there! Helo i fy holl ffrindiau Cymraeg
Oh really, bro, yet there's no one skyscraper in sight to represent us Irish. It's embarrassment to call Dublin the capital of Ireland we Irish have fought so much, mate, yet looking at Dublin's empty and boring skyline I say what was it all for fellas. Belfast should be the capital it's got bigger and taller buildings, buildings that are and look iconic unlike Dublin. You show photos of Dublin to the world and no one would know where the hell it was, show Belfast's city hell and the world would say. oh that's Belfast of course.
You are entitled to your opinion, of course, just as I am entitled to mine. Skyscrapers are ugly and, in a place like Dublin, quite unnecessay.@@ericfreeman273
@@ericfreeman273 ridiculous. Cities like Paris, do not allow buildings to be built more than seven stories. That’s the way it should be with Dublin, except for I would think like in the docklands. theories of architecture say when things are a human size, it’s more livable. When you build high-rise apartment buildings, it’s transient and not particular.
I have lived in central Dublin all my of my sixty two yesrs and i never had a problem best neighbours you could find anywhere you sound realy pissed off did someone rob your sheep shagging wellies ?

@@ericfreeman273 PS office buildings in New York are less than 70% occupied those days are gone high rises for office buildings
@@ericfreeman273 We have a policy of no skyscrapers.
This city is now full.
Please try Cork, or Limerick if you're really desperate.
Thats very far away!

Same here in Stoneybatter, great place to live.
Why is the music so down beat and sad😢
Cork gets nothing 😤
Very dreary architecture, if you look closer you can see tourists being mugged on the street
That does happen - but not just in Dublin!
How is the Shankill Rd, my wee man, don't Answer who cares it's a Dump.
