This history by Nana Buoyem kurontihene clearly demonstrates that they have no relationship with Asante. Buoyem was not founded by the Asantes; it was not conquered by Asantes and Asantes have never ruled Buoyem. Why therefore is Asantehene bent on annexing Buoyem to Asante? Is it because of the remaining golden stool? Nana, mo ne kasaa.
