Hi my bansuri set have been kept in dust and once were in contact with water ... They are now on the floor somewhere to a side but untouched, what do i do to to clean and sanatise them? Can they be restored to the original condition and safe to use?
Once dry, you can remove dust with a clean cloth… do some oil treatment …

ऑयलिंग के बाद फ्लूट कितने समय तक रखना है। कितने समय के पश्चात बजा सकते है।
मुझे आज ही प्राप्त हुई foxit c नेचुरल। उसमे जो होल है उनमें सभी होल के बीच मे अंतर एक जैसा है आपस में सारे छेद के एक ही नाप का अंतर होने के कारण वो प्रॉपर ट्यून नही लगती है। परन्तु बांसुरी का मेटेरियल ओर क़्वालिटी बहुत ही शानदार है।

Sir flute mein moisture ghusnein par use subah-subah ki dhoop mein rakh sakte hain? Meri flute mein bahut moisture hai, oiling ke baad bhi nahi jata. Use subah 7-8 baje ki dhoop meain rakh saktein hain? Winter mein, summer mein nahi.
Never do that, oiling se jayeg

@@shivu6377 your flute might still absorb moisture, still fungus might come, but ur flute will become very strong...

Sir, some doubts:
1. How often do we need to do the oiling?
2. Which oils can we use?
3. How long do we need to keep it after oiling before using it?
1. As an when when the bansuri shows dryness or moist, both cases require oiling
2. mustard oil is simply best
3. Keep for overnight and wipe it wit a microfibre cloth
