In this video I take you through the basics to changing or sharpening your mower blades.
Sharp mower blades are critical in maintaining a healthy lawn. Clean cuts on your grass blades decrease the risk of disease or pests entering your grass blade.
Be sure to check the manufactures guide on your mower for the right blades and the torque setting required for tightening the nuts.

Thanks Andy. Flat out mate. So busy with business it’s unfortunately not giving me much time to shoot videos for the channel.
Hope you are doing well mate.

Thanks for the vid, is there a difference having two low lift and two high lift blades?

      Hey mate
      Apologies for the delayed response.
Yes, high lift are for catching mainly and low for mulching. Honda recommend a combination of both for there mowers.
Have a great day mate 😀👍🏻

Do you tune up your hondas?

      Hi Nick
Yes, I do. From factory they just don’t rev up enough for contractors. Slightly high revs creates better cutting and a bit faster speed. Wish they just came like that from the factory. Honda will have there reasons though.
Keep in mind, if you increase rpm, you are voiding warranty on your motor and gearbox. Check with your local dealer.
Have a good weekend mate 🙂👍🏻
