Welcome to my channel, its my First Video of 2024. I am a Regular Visitor of Jim Corbett Park But this time I have visited Nandhaur Wildlife Sanctuary Tanakpur for Jungle Safari to Photograph Tigers and Other Wildlife Animals. As we entered in Nandhaur Wildlife Sanctuary Devbhumi we have our first sighting of Large Male Sambhar Deer in Nandhaur Wildlife Sanctuary and We found Fresh Tiger Pugmarks in Tiger Territory. As soon as we covered our first 40 Kilometers suddenly the Axle of our Gypsy came out along with the tyre. That was the very Thrilling Experience in Nandhaur Wildlife Sanctuary Tanakpur.
Nandhaur Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary in Uttarakhand, India that was created in 2012. It is located in the Terai Arc Landscape, a forest zone that stretches from Uttarakhand in India and extends into Nepal.
Nandhaur Wildlife Sanctuary lies between the Gola and Sharda Rivers in the Haldwani forest division and links the forests of Ramnagar and Terai central forest division with Shuklaphanta National Park in Nepal. It extends over an area of 269.96 km2 (104.23 sq mi). Since 2002, Nandhaur Wildlife Sanctuary has been a part of the Shivalik Elephant Reserve. The Wildlife Institute of India in 2004 recognised Nandhaur Wildlife Sanctuary as one of three viable habitats key to the long-term future of the tiger.
There are many ancient reference of faunal richness of this landscape bound by the Gola-Nandhaur- Ladhya and Sharda rivers, which, presently is particularly dominated by means of Nandhaur Wildlife Sanctuary. The Nandhaur River Valley, lying at the center of this panorama, gets mention in numerous debts for its ample game and fish. This hilly Bhabar tract as soon as supported extensive populations of tigers and leopards due to ample prey which includes sambar (Rus unicolor), chital (Axis axis) goral and barking deer. Besides those species the region is also stated to harbor populations of threatened species like the Asian elephant (Elephas maximus), the mainland serow (Capricornis thar), and the Asiatic black bear and Sloth Bear. Alongside its mammalian fauna the location hosts a rich variety of hen species comprising of Himalayan endemics and vagrants from Nepal.
