Dakota you have really helped me. Have listened to your other motivational speeches. You are correct love others do for others. Could listen to you all day. The country is better because of you. Teaching others to love is not easy. I try to smile to let others know I care. Thank you for the good human being that you are and for your service 🙏🇺🇸

I could listen to you everyday (which I do!), but you talk from your heart and it gets into mine everytime, your words have impact, they are relatable outside of the 'military', it is the way in which we should all live our lives, love..care..put others before yourself.

    WOW! Powerful
This is so helpful to the situation I am in.
“You can’t teach someone to care. You can’t teach someone to be selfless. There is no training for that.”
You are wise beyond your years and must of had some outstanding parents. Thank you for helping me today.

Loved this video! He was an Amazing, Proud, Patriotic young man I believe he is still that same guy, still cocky, the same all-around guy, just a few years older & ions wiser. He’s still going strong today (Sept 2022), hard-working, successful because he is dedicated, loves his Corps, loves our country, just disappointed w/ our leadership… something we have in common. I know you’ll keep loving your little girls & being You! Nothing here but Thanks & Heartfelt wishes for cont’d. Happiness. 🤙🏼 💙💫
Wish he were a quadruplet! ♥🇺🇸

Dakota, you are a blessing to this country and to humanity. Thank you not only for your service to this country, but your service to humanity. Listening to you has truly changed my life for the better and I thank you for that. May God bless you and the US Marine Corps and all our men and women who put themselves in harms way to save others and make the world a better place!

He’s a real soldier who loves this country and USMC brothers/sisters more than himself. A true hero & another patriotic American. I feel blessed everyday to live in this country. It is his sacrifice and dedication that makes me feel even more proud to be an American.

I was only aircraft maintenance in the Air Force but one thing I understood was that the needs of the service always came first and I might be turning a wrench on a C141 one day and defending the base the next day.

"I was only aircraft maintenance in the Air Force". Crifstar, never precede a comment on your military service with "I was only"..... You wore the uniform of our military service. Enough said. Besides, I/we, were on flights where we were damn glad a member of the USAF aircraft maintenance had done their job. Welcome home. Roger, USMC--1969-1973.

NCO's lead the way.... so damn true..... "one day you'll be tested...." this happened years after being out of the marine corps but that time, lead me to overcome what I went through. well said.

Did I hear you right, a PFC got smart with a SgtMaj? The numerous stories I hear about the Marine Corps today, does not resemble the Marine Corps I left in 1973. In the first place, a PFC wouldn't have gotten fresh mouthed with a SgtMaj., if he had, he would have been dressed down so bad there wouldn't have been much left. Semper Fi Dakota. Roger, USMC 1969-1973, RVN, '70-'71.
