Coronation Street has been making headlines after the shocking death of Seb's character on Friday night. It was all part of their storyline tackling hate crime, which has been inspired by real life events. Today Harry Visinoni, who played Seb, joins Lorraine to reveal how his time on the cobbles was a privilege, the real life inspiration behind one of the biggest soap storylines of the year and what the future holds for him.

Harry’s acting was amazing. So sad to see him leave Corrie. He certainly won’t be jobless he’s gonna be sort after. Especially after that performance. Wish him so much luck for his amazingly bright future ❤️

Love him! Gutted he’s left. That scene proper made me choke up. I love those characters too. This is a tough one to watch but so important that it was made as those incidents happen in real life

The fact that he wants to do theatre speaks to his talent. He is subtle in his acting and he seems to listen to the actors in the scene. Harry along with Mikey North....good skills.

I don't think the Mom was only in it for the money I think her main objective and the producers main objective was to present the real life issue. I don't know if Sophie Lancasters Mom was paid a fee for the story line but likely she was paid a fee to work on the storyline.

HARRY - If you don't want to lose your credibility as an actor, do NOT take any of the stupid reality shows - "... Get me out of Here" or "Dancing on Ice" - get back to theatre, regardless how small the role may be and LEARN, LEARN, LEARN - you have talent - don't waste it. 💜
He also has to live and pay Bill's so if he does that's his business. Leave him alone .
At the end of the day he is an actor,and it’s his right to do whatever he wants to do.albeit he played a fantastic role,and I hope goes on to do more great acting,he’s a young man with opportunities and I hope he goes far

I worked as a chef on a cruise ship and I was jumped in kitchen by some thugs so I know what it's like to be attacked

Does anyone else feel awkward watching this interview? He looks so uncomfortable. Lorraine unfortunately has a way of making interviews so bubbly and light when actually, this could’ve been great press for the issue in hand, a very dark issue may I add, and make it more about Seb and Nina, not his own personal life. Also, asking the poor guy about dancing on ice and calling him a baby - for god sake Lorraine! Why would he want to do reality TV!? He’s an incredible actor! He may be 22 but he’s spent 5 years in that job! Calling him a baby is abit patronising! x

I broke my heart watching his final episodes, I knew what was coming, but it shook me to my core to know that it was based on real life events. Absolutely devastating, but well done to Corrie for highlighting it.
He's a 22 year old man and she's treating him like a 12 year old.

So sad to see him go, I will miss him, loved Seb to bits but Harry won't be long without work he was terrific and so is Mollie as Nina.

Brilliant storyline. Brilliant acting from Harry aka Seb. Absolutely broke me watching those last scenes. I purposely swerved the attack as I hate violence and Sophie’s story still haunts me. Good luck with whatever you do next Harry, you were fantastic! 👏🙌
Harry comes across as a genuinely nice guy and was excellent in his final scenes on Corrie. I hope he goes on to get many more excellent acting roles in future. Maybe a certain other Harry ( The right royal pain in the ass one ) could take some lessons from him with regards to how enhance your public profile.

I actually stopped watching Corrie but did watch these last few episodes how beautifully acted by this brilliant young actor ,always liked the character of Seb (in fact 4 yrs ago whilst watching him decided to give his name to my newly adopted cat !!!)

It’s a sad way and awful in which the story line has panned out by the producers have decided to take Seb out perhaps the actor himself decided to come out of the soap
How can you hate someone when you don't even know them. This is just like discriminating and beating someone up for being gay or for being of a different race or religion. Even though I am not a goth this still upset me as it demonstrates how small minded and stupid prejudice people are that they would do this to a human being who is just being herself.

When seb return to emmerdale
Since Seb died, I've been thinking of ways to bring him back to the show. Hmmmm, you know, when they're lying on that slab, sometimes they actually come back to life right before they're rolled out for their autopsy or being pulled together for their viewing. Naw...I don't think he'll come back, what a shame. They could have found another storyline for him and Nina or even just him. Oh well, he's gone. Thee End.
