I literally sat down to design a multipurpose router guide set up, I opened up youtube for background noise, and this was on my feed.... I cannot stress how beautifully designed this is. Just gonna buy one, Not gonna waste my own time when someone else has done such a nice job :)
not a waste of time to go through the motions of designing your own tool by aaaany means. try improving on his design
So that's what it takes to bring a product to market! Very educational. This will inspire people to produce amazing stuff!
tha amount of time and dedicatoin for this video, all the temporary files, to edit the animations etc... and of course the product. you deserve all the success!
Man that’s a master at work. I got the first batch you did, been amazing help in my diy projects, my family all wonder why keep it super clean and look after it and don’t let any lay thier hands on it. After showing them this video now they understand. Hope you sort out your situation with the bank tho
Wow - Wishing you the best of luck. It is evident that your architectural background was paramount to the very multi-faceted approach you've taken to developing this product. From 3D modeling software to printing, packaging and even the design of the instruction manual - everything is very well thought out and cohesively integrated. You can tell this was a true passion project. Bravo.
Beautiful quality of the video & manufacturing progress. I just realized that this was a kickstarter project at the end. Amazing.
I am so jealous of the manufacturing connections you have had on this project. And that steel business card is waaay over the top :D
A good tool comes from a great hands on designer like you. You deserve a good praise. You are magnificent brother. Keep up your good work. Thanks for sharing your build ❤
I'm very happy for you that you have come so far, from me finding you a few years ago when you did so many awesome 3d prints that had a very high quality, a quality not many companies even have. To not today when I found this video showing something you designed finally being made in a factory and then put together the way its ment to be, in a professional way. I also try and do so much I can to get a quality product when I make my miniatures, but I could never reach this far you have. Truely awesome to see man!
Am so happy for your achievement! A lot of people might not comprehend how hard it is to take a product from prototyping to production! Phenomenal feat… great job! All the veryy best
You're my inspiration...
Amazing job!!!! And thank you because now we have a full video to show when a client wants to make a product but they have no idea that making means MANUFACTURING!!! Hope the market works well for you!!!
Huge respect! Designing and manufacturing a product as complicated as yours takes so many steps. How have you manage to keep the focus while assembling & packing hundreds of units without making mistakes, or forgetting something? Kudos!
Outstanding!
Thank you so much for sharing this. Its fantastic to see the different manufacturing methods used.
Congratulations! Always enjoyed watching your videos with endless improvements.
Awesome work, I like the attention to the details and the exceptional high quality. Looks like the Apple of woodworking, congrats to the Kickstarter!
broooo its dope, and looks very clean from design, assembly to product.
It must feel incredible to launch a product you've designed yourself, though I can only imagine how exhausting this could be. Wishing you the best and many more successes like this in the future.
i just love your design skills
Dog's thoughts - when are we going to go for a walk already? 😁
GJ man👍
Btw. benchdogs just released a router base and they just picked up my idea with the thumb screws on top to quickly disassamble the router. Would have loved to see that on your v2...
Proud of you, brother-engineer!)
Your content is perfect!
Great content.. would love to see a video about outsourcing and vetting manufacturers in China
i wonder if i could use godox in construction for better light and visibility, good idea to light workbench as such
I'm patiently waiting for the release of the Bosch GKF 18V palm-router (coming 2024). If your routerguide fits this one as well, I'll buy it in a heartbeat!
This is just crazy.... ^^
OOO you made an upgraded version?? I need that new handle hahaha
i started my production with silicon mould and polyurethane resin too 😅
Top... Perfect
Will you please make yourself a tape gun!!!!! Sheesh!
Tbh the finish on the POM handle just looks better :/
I am still excited about the product but a bit bummed about the handle.
Ps love the dog ^^
Awesome work. Endless effort, amazing. But all this nice packaging will be a nightmare to attemot aout of china
Is it possible to know what the manufacturing percentage is and what the profit percentage is? Maybe it will be 50%-50% or 70% manufacturing and 30% utility. I'm doing a project and I realize that projects on Kickstarter receive a lot of monetary help. But in reality what will be the profit? greetings
this is a fuking masterpiece
Where can I get this? It says “all gone“ 😢
It’s available here for another month and will be shipped at the same time as kickstarter campaign: igg.me/at/8cbkZ8EXdYs/x#/
What type of engraver are they using @3:20?
Can you show us how you transitioned from 3d printing to casting in molds and how you set up your workshop for that? I'm looking to get into that kind of manufacturing and I'm wondering how to without a six figure investment.
He got these things made for him - usually the customer owns the moles and gets them after the productions is finished or something changed with the designs
I pledged on the 17 of March, kickstarter says I won’t get charged until the 22nd of April. Is that the type of funding issue you’re having?
Thank you, with kickstarter there are no issues, problems I referred to are from preorders sold in January, still haven’t gotten all the money yet
What do you mean by "bank complications"? You will receive the full payment, right...?
I will, it just takes much longer than it should be (money from preorders, with kickstarter there shouldn’t be any problems )
@@ussadesign Alright, keep up the good work, mate!
Tianjin? Do you live in China?
Really amazing! I ordered and paid mine last week but haven’t heard anything back yet. Will you contact me for address details? Can’t wait to use this.
Thank you, I will, kickstarter campaign will end in 10 days and I will start to collect addresses
I love your work! But... I found the statement that you "have no idea how to proceed with Kickstarter" very worrying. I can't wait to have mine, but I want to be confident that a near $400aud will result in the product arriving? I'm a massive fan of your work and this product and have been watching your videos for a long time now, but just don't want to lose money or wait years to receive what I have ordered.
Thank you very much. That situation was in January. When I said "I have no idea how to make Kickstarter," I meant that I did not know how to create a Kickstarter campaign, including diagrams, product explanations, and most importantly, the promo video. But, as you might have seen at the end of the video, the Kickstarter turned out to be successful. Regarding the product itself, it will be delivered as scheduled. The previous 500 units from pre-orders have made me quite confident in the product delivery process. My intention was to encourage other creators to start their own Kickstarter campaigns independently, without the need for big advertising companies and large investments. I suppose I did not convey that message clearly.
@@ussadesign Thanks so much for your quick reply. That clears up my concerns. I'm sure to many people it would have made sense, but it left me a little confused. Keep up the great work and apologies for the inconvenience!
kickstarter? I think you have something at the level of Shark Tank already!

中国?? no way
Русский чтоли? )
ohh! you are in china?why i never found your products in china ?😂
This place looks like china.
Still impressed by your videos, not so much on your product and much less that you don't react on feedback at all. Maybe less videos and more customer care?
Agree regarding customer feedback, kickstarter campaign kept me very busy, I will improve
@@ussadesign It's not like I cannot imagine how busy you are. But maybe you wanna pick up on 1-2 things I wrote you and change them before delivering "bad stuff" to people? I for example would (have) be(en) happy if you would just provide 3D printer files for the centering pin (1/2 to 8mm) and copy ring so that I could use my set.
@@ussadesignhey buddy, I absolutely love the first model you released in November but I see you got new parts, do you think it would be possible to buy the upgrade bundle? Like all the new parts? To upgrade the one I already have?
@@novaneoQuite an interesting question - care to answer @ussadesign? I mean, agreeing to the customer feedback aspect and then not answering on those questions...
You know, this actually answered a lot of questions I didn't know I had about manufacturing in general.
Amazing attention to detail. Your living the dream!
Very impressive. I want to buy one!
Nice product! Congrats for the Kickstarter campaign!

congratulations! I've often wondered what the process looked like, thank you for this insight.
