If your budget allows, not a business hotel, I think it's best to stay in a tourist hotel (resort hotel or Japanese ryokan). There are plenty of business hotels around the station, and they are reasonably priced, but The rooms are small and the bathrooms are in units, so you won't be very happy with them. If you put more emphasis on accommodation, you'll be more satisfied with your trip. Instead, stay in a traditional Japanese ryokan or onsen inn. I think it's better to experience Japanese culture to get a feel for it. The following services are good for this purpose. Multilingual support Installing WiFi Introduction of payment services Water maintenance You can eat Japanese food. Experience Japanese culture However, Japanese inns and other places may not have that good of a transportation system.
