everyone complaining about how the artstyle doesnt match or whatever but honestly it just looks like a brighter, more lit-up version of normal tf2. looks pretty good and i think its a nice change of pace for an engine from 2004. too bad the game is cpu bottlenecked 90% of the time lol
Not actually bad for a really early demonstration. It looks like a lot of work needs to go into the maps and particle effects to really take advantage of the better shadows, light sources, and HDR, and if you were going to put that kind of work into the maps to update them you might as well use the lighting and HDR features built into newer Source versions and make your final product un-reliant on RT.
@@fabifibra123gamer2 it's not supposed to look good though... the entire point of this video is to show raytracing working in tf2, literally nothing else you act as if valve is gonna permanently change the game's lighting to this and force you to use it
looks so nice I kept expecting my laptop to lag
Looks impressive for just pressing a single button

Ruins the art style 👍
it's just a tech demo dude, nothing serious
I'm not sure why everyone is getting upset
@@2fifty533people are upset because it looks like poop
