Good ideas. Every year, we get our kids Christmas pajamas to be opened and worn on Christmas Eve. We also get each kid a book. After that, it varies a bit. Especially now as they get older. My sister and her husband get their kids 3 things. (Because Jesus got 3 gifts). They get a want, a need and a surprise. I like hearing about everyone's approach to christmas gift giving 😊
Great ideas! The 3 gift rule sounds fun. I guess that’s what we did this year, plus one for Christmas Eve! With the kids exchanging gifts too, that’s four extra gifts each. It quickly gets to be a lot! 😊
I cannot express how grateful I am and how refreshing it is to watch your Christmas gift videos. I've been watching them (and all your videos) for several years now, and they take away the guilt I have put on myself for not buying 1000s of bucks in gifts. 4 under the tree gifts, perfect!!!! Thank you Julie, for your videos. ❤
My 12 year old wanted that Lego set that Zara is getting. I haven't posted my videos yet, they are coming out Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday lol. I don't hide my kids gifts, even well, there are packages that just haven't been opened sitting in my living room that are gifts. They know their gifts are just sitting in boxes in the garage and they won't go looking because they don't want to ruin it.
Hey Friend, Happy Monday. In my opinion it’s better late than never and I enjoyed seeing what you got your kids for their Christmas presents. ❤ I feel like I’m learning more about your kids each video but I feel like I learned about Wesley the most. Because I knew that Wesley loved the I spy books, trains, and playing baseball. I am still learning about your kids and that excites me because you and Andrew raised wonderful kids. ❤🥰 I love how you have a need, want, reading, and early Christmas Eve gift for each kid that’s such a creative idea
As a German I know about the stocking tradition, but just wondering when do they get the gifts from stockings? Gifts from under the tree are for the morning of 25th, right?
Your gift ideas are fantastic, and it's always helpful to find inspiration for Christmas gifts. Thanks for sharing, and happy holidays to you and your family!
I totally agree about natural consequences! If they choose to snoop, they miss out on the surprise! Great gift ideas. I’ve been looking forward to this video. I love the 4 gift rule. I do the same and add a ‘do’ like drawing supplies, puzzles, etc, plus a board game for Christmas Eve. I couldn’t imagine going back to all toys again, 4 gifts works so well. Happy to see I’m not the only one who has gifted rechargeable batteries- i bought some from Costco for $40-50 last year for my gamer stepson who is always asking for batteries last year and got so much hate for it 😅 I didn’t understand the hate, I think it’s a great gift and pretty pricey!!
Oh what a great idea to give a “something to do” gift! No hate from me! 😂 rechargeable batteries are definitely expensive and something that will be beneficial for them 😊
Bella Got a ukulele this year for Christmas for the exact same reason! She loved that Kiwi Co. ukulele to the point of wearing it down, she even brought it to our co-op to help lead worship lol. That’s so funny!

I'm never around children, so Wesley's teeny tiny clothes squeezed my heart.

I love your thoughtful approach to gifting. ❤️
Just a heads up the rechargeable batteries can catch fire if left on to long

The Amazon wishlist is a great idea.
I’m right there with you! “You chose to listen”
Those are really great gifts! You and your husband make Christmas magical for your children. The memories they will have!
Thank you 😊 I think so!!
I know this was a year ago, but any chance you have the ukulele link?

Love the Ukulele, so beautiful!!
Love your gifts.. we do simple too. Money (want) .. 2 outfits (need) . and led lights for their room ❤
Great ideas! 😊
It's so funny about the tie because I just got my 16-year-old an adult-sized tie that is still a zip-up one! He can tie a tie but he likes easy 🤣
I realized through all of my searching that they do indeed sell a lot of zip up adult ties! I had no idea 😂
Just to let you know, in Brazil we dont do stocking. But after your first video I got really excited and bought stuff to do it!!! Thank you
Oh I love that ❤️ I hope it becomes a tradition that you enjoy and continue!

Oh I love that for them! That kiwi co box was a hit for sure! 😁
I got the same set for my little one!! I’m so excited. The road pieces are actually no longer made (I’m so sad to know that) so good find!
Oh no way! I’m glad I found it! 👏🏻
Great gifts! Thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas!!
Love the thought you put into your gifts 🥰
Thanks! ☺️
Lovely gifts as always merry Christmas 🎄🎀
Great useful, yet fun gifts!
Yes! My kids know to not snoop around in my closet! 😂 They’ll ruin Christmas if they do!
Do you guys do Santa gifts?
No, we don’t 😊
