I think it's now safe to say "automatically rank the people with idols as the safest" is no longer the best strategy. Players are worse at reading when they should play them -- really since S39.
1:21:25 People keep saying this, but I maintain that there is at least one (admittedly unlikely) endgame scenario where Soda at least votes for Venus, and that’s if she’s there with Q and Liz. I think no matter who he’s with Q isn’t getting a single jury vote, and Liz and Soda seemingly didn’t get along at all. Soda and Venus had a complicated relationship, but Soda seemed pretty good with her when she left.
Think it would be close between Liz and Venus. And as you said, it's such an unlikely scenario. If that's the final 3 after what we've watched, I'm disappointed lol.
1.Venus-- everyone who was gunning for her is gone 2.Charlie- in the middle 3.Maria- in the middle 4.KenIe- good connections. 5.Ben- Kenzie follower, back with Suga too 6.Tiff- big 🎯, stunning Hunter didn't play idol, will Tiff play as risky ? 7.Liz- if she demands respect she just may get it like Tevin did 8.Q- with an idol in the mix he's def the backup but won't be shocking if he skates by for real
1:19:10 We saw Tiff be that person for Venus in Tevin’s boot episode. That’s what kicked off Q’s spiral, actually. Granted, Tiff wasn’t coming from a place of wanting to work with Venus, but still. It does seem like the Yanu women and Liz all have at least workable relationships with Venus.
I’m loving this season so far tbh, the beginning was a little slow because of Yannu losing a lot but even then it was fun. I’m really hoping Tiffany, ben, Charlie, or Mariah can win
I got the sense that Kenzie was trying to have it both ways - if Hunter survived she could use him as a number, but since he didn't she can just say it was a vote split. He thought she was his number 1 so he would've been valuable to her. I would say she should've told him to play it but she actually might have. According to Hunter she told him he was getting votes so she probably intended/expected him to play it. I can understand not telling him to play it at tribal once it became clear that he wasn't playing it, since people could've seen that and I think Kenzie didn't want to show her cards. They did seat her right behind him though so I think the producers were aiming for that outcome.
This right here! I literally don't see a way for either of them to make to the end without cutting each other, especially because we've seen that these castaways feel like voting out their closest allies is "a big move". If neither of them achieves this and they take each other to the end, that could affect their jury votes.
I actually don't think Kellie's "Rabbit hole" theories are off AT ALL! ..... Maria is running a big risk of alienating herself from her strong alliance with Charlie bc he DOES NOT want anything to do with Q.... If Charlie feels like Maria is trying to make Q her #1, I can see him working with Tiff & others to get her out. Love hearing your insights Kellie you reading the room !!!
1:07:30 Now that you being up Liz, Q would be the obvious choice to go home but he is no longer the threat to win. I envision Liz going home due to playing hard and lack of alliance.
Kelly is super smart and knowledgeable at the game. I would love to see her in 50 !
Such a great guest!! And such a great Survivor mind!
Cancel Christmas is from Power, a favorite line of the great Tommy Egan
Didn't know this!

Yup, more often than not people with idols don't play them right.
Keep up the great content!
Glad you're enjoying it!
Cody and Ben on the same tribe would be rockin and livin!

Season 43. Cody, Karla, and Jesse go back to back to back then Gabler wins
Such an insane run lol

RIP to Sonja Christopher from Survivor Borneo
Sonja was another therapist to go down in flames 🔥 unfortunately. So far Denise from Season 25 is the most successful therapist from the show.

Excited to see a season 50 All Stars event. Caleb, Bruce, and Emily part 2 hopefully 🤞🏾

Since Bhanu's predictable boot, this season has been on fire. And honestly, the first two Yanu episodes were good.

Here's the thing: can Maria beat Charlie at the end or will one of them have to cut the other?
