In K-pop groups there is ‘lead’ positions and ‘main’ positions. Jimin is BTS’ Lead Vocal whereas Jungkook is the Main Vocal. People who are used to western music would usually think that ‘Lead Vocal’ is the most prominent but actually when it comes to K-pop the ‘Main Vocal’ is the most prominent vocalist. However, just like with everything else, BTS breaks away from the traditional dynamic a bit. Their music is so so diverse in terms of genres and styles that BTS have strayed away from “this person is the main vocal always” narrative and now lines in the song go to whoever they suit best. Jungkook is the main vocal because he’s the most stable and consistent no matter what he’s doing, standing, sitting, lying down, dancing, everything. His voice is absolutely stunning. Because of his consistency this means that he gets a lot of lines, earning him the ‘Main Vocal’ title (see performances of My Time, Euphoria & Begin) Jimins voice is more light and airy, also absolutely beautiful and unique, I think we can all agree. If you watch some of his performances (serendipity, lie & filter) you’ll see how amazing he is on stage in terms of his voice, dancing and stage presence. Taehyung (V) has a really deep and soulful voice, and the biggest vocal range (see stigma & blue and grey). He always sounds amazing and adds a gorgeous richness to the song whenever he sings. Jin’s voice has such a unique quality, it has been praised by multiple industry professionals. Both his and Jimins voices can get up there into female ranges. I would say Jin’s vocals are just more piercing and sharp whereas Jimins are softer and lighter. Jin reallllyyy shines on ballads (epiphany & awake) and BTS’ Japanese songs (crystal snow, let go & don’t leave me). All in all, every vocalist in BTS has a beautiful voice. Although there’s technical things that put them in the positions they’re in, it would be really unfair to say any of them are ‘better’ than the other. It really all comes down to personal taste and what appeals to your ear. I personally can never choose 😂.

BTS has made it absolutely clear (especially since LY era onwards) that they don’t take these positions too literally. I mean if you take 134340, love maze & home (referencing those because they have that similar jazzy vibe and ‘home’ was the subject of the video) and gave them to someone who doesn’t know BTS to listen to, they’d think Jimin is the main vocal because he has so many prominent lines in those songs. But it’s literally just because he really really shines in that style and it shows his vocal colour really well. But for other songs you’d think the same about other members. Of course they should all get well deserved recognition for their positions and what they’re good at. But at the end of the day, they don’t jam themselves into those positions and neither should we, imo!
as far as i know jin and jimin famous with their high notes V : deeper voice and really good at slow parts jungkook: stable voice ( that guys voice only cracks when apocalypse comes) Main vocal is jungkook but main voice can change according to song's type vibe.

Jimin the lead vocal, I think because he has a unique voice and you can identify his voice easily along with V. And according to Google, lead vocal is the 2nd that has the best vocal technique, ofcourse Main vocal is the 1st.

Each of the vocalist is got their own niche, what they are best at and stand out at. Jimin with his angelic voice is capable of reaching notes that are normally too high for a man to reach, and is one of the most distinctive voices that I’ve ever heard. Jungkook isn’t the main vocalist for nothing, he’s got the most “pop-y” sounding voice so it suits practically every genre and it’s incredibly stable while dancing at the same time. Jin has improved a lot since debut, his high notes are nothing to scoff at, he’s got a way of enunciating that gives his singing a very interesting sound, and you can tell he pours tons of emotion in every performance. Last but not least, Taehyung (V) is the member with the widest vocal range in BTS, his voice is the only one with a dark tone in the group, very unique and he can go both high and low; he’s got amazing control over his falsettos, too. So yeah, Jungkook is main vocalist and Jimin is lead vocalist, but Jin and Taehyung are just as incredible. You should listen to their solo songs to be able to appreciate their individual talents better 😊 I recommend Jungkook’s Euphoria and My Time, Jin’s Epiphany and Moon, Jimin’s Serendipity and Filter, and Taehyung’s (V) Singularity and Sweet Night.

Guys Jungkook is the main Vocalist and Jimin is a lead vocalist but I don't know the difference between the two. Though one major factor you should all know is you shouldn't compare all the four vocalists coz each of them has a different tone to their voices, they're all different and each of them has a role. If you want to know each persons voice better, check out their solo songs, each of them has solo songs and they are all great vocalists and that's what makes them great

Guys Jungkook is the main Vocalist and Jimin is a lead vocalist but I don't know the difference between the two. Though one major factor you should all know is you shouldn't compare all the four vocalists coz each of them has a different tone to their voices, they're all different and each of them has a role. If you want to know each persons voice better, check out their solo songs, each of them has solo songs and they are all great vocalists and that's what makes them great
It has nothing to do with who's main or lead vocal it just which member voice suit that style most.
