Very sound arguments from the man himself, Miguna Miguna. -But now on a serious note, and by reasoning highly objectively, Miguna does not possess the credentials of being Nairobi governor or even more broadly - no credentials for holding any elective post (at least judging from his current demeanour). However, he would be a prudent and effective political/public policy advisor. My arguments are largely based on the fact that to be a highly effective and successful politician who truly fights for the interests of his/her people - it is paramount that you are well rounded, so to speak. By well rounded I mean: humble, charismatic and revolutionary (especially within our African type of politics). Hence, Miguna is just way too arrogant. His intentions and prospective policies are indeed highly desirable. He is however too out of touch with the common mwananchi (us, the voters). He needs to be more appealing to the masses and approachable to get elected.

Kenyans hate a confident person. They call it ARROGANCE when one does not sing praises to the tribal kings. I hope you'll be happy with makanga Sonko as Nairobi Gavna turning Uhuru Park into a Matatu terminus because that is very Korogocho thinking that you want.
I duly concur with your frustrations as regards the seemingly never ending incompetence of our so called leaders - just look at how these two clowns running our country as a prime example. -Total mismanagement of the economy, unfathomable looting of public coffers by their cronies, etc. However, and by thinking objectively - it is very apparent that Miguna does not endow Leadership qualities. This is precisely why I categorically suggested that he would make a prudent and highly effective public policy adviser - not a Political Leader. -He is too out of touch with the common mwananchi. -Nonetheless, if he works very hard to change his demeanour as relates to people skills, he just might make it as a prospective Leader.
RawBrassKnuckles Unfortunately we do not have that luxury. It is a field full of false prophets. We thought Kidero was qualified. Sonko is less qualified than Miguna. Despite his 8 years in the legislature. Bishop is better off preaching and Sakaja is a unfunny joke. I'll take green and naive Miguna over any of these. If open to someone better if one emerges but so far he's the worst smelling of the bunch.
