August 2023 Garden Tour

It was August 5 seconds ago and suddenly it is the middle of September! I don't understand what happened.
This video is a tour of the front and back garden at the end of August 2023. Although we have had sporadic rain here and there, we have been in a drought most of the summer. We normally have a few days in the 90s or even one or two past 100 degrees, but this summer we have had many more of those exceptionally hot days. Because of this and my reluctance to rely on using the hose too much, the garden is looking a little bit crispity-crunchity at the moment.
How was your summer? Hot and dry? Damp? Does your garden looked OVER IT at this time of year?

I've been putting a lot of hydrangeas in and my gardens have thirty guards at memorial Park in New Kensington PA and I just love them but I think you need to just leave it alone it looks so pretty let it be to you later
