to the bulls fans who came here to see who giddey was as a basketball player and are excited about what they saw here, remember that there was only 1 play in this video where he actaully didn't get the assist as Cason Wallace passed it on to Chet, the amount of buckets created by this man passing the team open is insane and dude has plenty more hockey assists on his stat's.
really gonna miss his passing, especially his SLOB and BLOB passes.
Considering these passes are from a 19-21 year old, he got potential.

He doesn't do the fake look away after the dime, that's why it doesn't look flashy.
The thing that makes Giddey such a good passer is that he rarely over-complicates things. He just makes solid passes that require good vision and elite timing. His whole thing is putting the pass in the place where the cutter is or will be at a time when the defender is not or can't get to in time. You just can't teach that. Right now he does a lot of stuff hitting cutters after picking up his dribble, if he could improve his live dribble creation to include this after warping defences, that's when he becomes an elite playmaker like a Nash or a CP3, but he's not that guy yet.
OKC just made a colossal mistake trading Giddey. Everybody will see that in the next few years.
Giddey asked to leave. They were going to start him on the bench next season.

That first pass was insane, just look how far back the receiver is and to go under his leg.
Time to trade Derozan and Lavine. Giddey and White will be great. Ease Ball back in. Just need a solid 3 like a Luol Deng to be a competitive team again

His 3 is already slightly above league average and his mid range game is good
The kid can play, imagine if he was also a 40% 3 point shooter.
Why they trade this guy. He’s a clear centerpiece for a contender.
Josh giddy unlocks everyone from the bulls
Giddey’s gift is his ability to read cutters in the national flow of play and choose and execute the type of pass that puts the ball exactly where and when it needs to be for the cutter. It’s not a true ‘floor general’ type of playmaking like a CP3 or even a Luka who probe and control the game style and tempo, but it’s an elite and valuable skill nonetheless.
Exactly what the Bulls have been missing for over 200 games, now. Coby at the 1, Ayo at the 2, Giddey at the 3. Great start.

He also shot and rebounded well. He did more than half a dozrn clutch plays on the season. When SGA and JDub were out, he was on fire.
