I am not an orthodontist. However, I do come in contact with patients whose wires are protruding and traumatising the buccal mucosa. Could you recommend me some pliers that would be both end cutters and step pliers? Ideally in hammerhead configuration. Thank you very much.

The crown only tips towards the low side of the bend on the mandibular arch, not the maxillary arch, correct?
