This is the best video for learning how to fix the footrest when it wouldn't close completely. It was going to cost me $100 to have a service man come over to fix it. It took me two seconds to fix it. But they won't tell you at La-Z-Boy how to fix it. This video saved me $100. Thank you!
I watched a different video at least 10 times and followed it step by step. I was getting ready to call Lazyboy when I decided to try another video. This one worked the first time with one less step. Thanks for the help.
This is the best of the videos for learning to reset the remote for the recliner. However, you don't mention that the box on the power cord also has batteries. This is also important because I can't seem to get mine to reset without taking them out for 10 seconds, as well. Go figure, just my luck cause they are 9-volt and are not as easy to get out. As well, there are some times you have to use a paperclip to reset/ restart the remote, by putting it in the little hole. What I can't figure out is why am I having to do this about once every month to 6 weeks. I have only had my chair since April and have had to reset it that often.
Yes, but i did find another dealers video that remembered that the two 9volt batteries in the power back-up have to be removed to reset the remote along with removing the three AAA in the remote itself! Then resetting the remote to your own particular chair with the end of a paperclip and inserting it into a small hole at the bottom end of the remote until you hear a 'beeping' sound, then close the battery compartment and you should be good to go! Far too complicated, either connect the control to the chair with an appropriate short cord or directly to the chair arm within reach, Jeeeeeeez it's only a powered chair for gods sake! 🤔🥺😠😡😤
Thank you. I only wish my store would have showed me this before I left. But then the customer service was not that great. I had to wait will my sales person left 2 times to help others. I only purchased the chair for the Lazy boy reputation and the fact I loved my last Lazy boy chair not because of the salesperson, that's for sure.
We just got our couch and loveseat 24 hours ago. It's the cordless model, which requires it to be plugged in and charged at some point. The remotes have come unpaired 6x now. This thing sucks.... purchased in Central Texas
My remote isn't working. I removed the batteries (2-9V and 3-AAA1.5V) and unplugged the AC cord from the wall. I made certain the do not disturb button was in the ulocked forward position then plugged the chair back into the wall, replaced the batteries and pushed the magnifying glass "search" button. My remote beeps constantly and won't stop beeping, I hit the "home" button and it stopped beeping but still doesn't work, any ideas?
