      Thank you so much! These colors really speak to me. It’s always fun to create hidden little elements to include with Flip Flaps.

    Thank you for the mention and video tag! I was biting my nails when you decided to ink those letters but I LOVE it. And that crackle stamp is so awesome.

    Your photos and this pack are a perfect match with everything you've created so far with this collection. Love this and the additions of the Mocha inking and crackle stamp (my most used from this set).

      I keep thinking I should get another paper pack from this collection, it’s just too perfect for me! The crackle stamp is my favorite too and different from any other texture stamp I have so it was a need to have 😉

    I love this paper pack--CTMH has made a very nice color combination. I hope they keep coming out with paper packs in these colors. It works so well for ranch/farm photos. But how fun to use it with Autumn photos from farmers markets, or pumpkin patch roadside markets. I really like the orange/brown colors in the horseshoeing photo. Fabulous layout--I very much like it.

    Love this layout. It all came together beautifully. Your choice of papers and embellishments and how you arranged them compliment the photos and make them shine rather than detract and get lost.

    I really like the finished effect with the piggies tucked underneath as they were really looking out of place on the page the more you progressed. Thank goodness for flip flaps!! The memories certainly improved as well once they were coloured & spread more across the patterned paper as the darkness of their colour gave them more presence & they seemed to become larger & more pronounced than in the original colour. Altogether the pages look fantastic in their final state & the sunset horse gives the two pages a bright finish.

    Love the layout. I thought the picture of your husband went with the color theme because of the papers you were using especially because of the ground area. Thanks for the inspiration. Love your outdoor layouts. I think it would be fun to use the stamp set because of the cow and horse. I would take the cow and color it black because we have angus beef.

    • @CraftyConceptswithErin

    Erin, I absolutely love all your videos!! I’ve been binge watching you every day to get inspired. I am brand new to scrapbooking and card making. I am basically starting from ground zero. Where do I begin? A Cut Above? What are the absolute necessities I need to get started?

    • @CraftyConceptswithErin
      @CraftyConceptswithErin  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Phyllis! Welcome to this wonderful community of scrapbookers, I am so glad you are enjoying the videos. The Cut Above kits are a great place to start, you really only need a tape runner and your photos to create those. To take it a step further I recommend you have a paper trimmer, scissors, a refillable tape runner and ideally a Versamat. You do not have to have the Versamat but I do use it every time I scrapbook and it is very helpful. The workshops are a bit more involved than the cut above kits but still achievable for new scrapbookers because they have the step by step directions. Reach out any time, I am always happy to help and answer any questions you may have.

    I always struggle with journaling and what tense to use. I want to be consistent but was curious do you write as if you are telling the story? Using "I" a lot. I am going to try and catch that in your video's but I wondered how you approach it.

    • @CraftyConceptswithErin
      @CraftyConceptswithErin  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is a great question. It really depends but typically it is written from my perspective. If it is a layout intended for one of my boys I like to write it to them as if I was writing a letter.

    @erin do you scrapbook for your kids or do you just make a family album?

    • @CraftyConceptswithErin

      I mainly create family albums. Each son has their own baby book from birth through their first birthday. I figure eventually I will start sorting layouts into albums pertaining to each kid.

      Hello, I use Flip Flaps and love them. I went back and found this older video of mine showing how they work. The Flip Flap part starts around the ten minute mark and you can see exactly how they work. They are a staple in my craft room! th-cam.com/video/mdpCopNY5qE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=F7tLaPw668ilqWah
