Rodgers has become morale poison for his team. I used to love him, but after dealing with this kind of thing for a few seasons, I'd never want him back in GB.
Ziggy's point about Adams only being in the building for 4 days and only knowing what Rodgers has told him and immediately diagnosing the team as "soft" is really spot on.
For real. Everyone knows you can't be a prominent, long-term Packer star without playing at least a year for the ViQueens before you hang up your cleats for good.
I was on the dump Rodgers train way back in 2021 after his sad boy holdout and oh boy did my Packers fan brethren hate me for it. I was also first in the door on the Love train, which I took a lot of shade for as well. I have been vindicated two-fold. Edit: "Wait, his name is Sauce?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
With 20/20 hindsight, Green Bay should have traded Rodgers to Denver after the NFCCG loss to the Bucs. They could have gotten five first rounders or something insane like that. The '21 and '22 seasons would have been ugly, but they'd be set up to be a dynasty for years.
Me too buddy. I was over the "will he or won't he" and then in 2022 he played like garbage for most of the season. Really think Love would be even better if he had started in 2022.
Look man, as a packers fans I’ve seen Rodgers at 2-6 / 3-6 and make the playoffs. Granted he was much younger but if Rodgers taught me anything about ball, it’s that you can’t give up until you’re eliminated. I remember the Super Bowl season, the run the table moment in 2016, it’s not impossible. Very very tough now yes, but I can’t count 12 out like that. Sad to see him going out like this but that’s why you draft a Jordan love a little earlier than needed
Not a chance am I counting Rodgers out until they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Have seen it from Rodgers way too many times. There’s certain things as a Packers fan you know. Don’t count out Rodgers until it’s completely over and the bears will always be the bears.
Wild to consider... but if the Jets had just done what they should have years ago and hired an actual offensive head coach like a Shane Steichen for example in all likelihood Zach Wilson develops, learns to play NFL QB and the Jets have a real team with real hope for the future. Instead they decided to continue being the Jets.
Ziggy and Jack, Aaron Rodgers does not stink. The organization does. The d has not played good, the o line has not played good, and the receivers have stunk.
He's too old to be trying to come back from an Achilles' tear. He has ZERO mobility, and about 85% of Rodgers' game involves moving around and making something out of nothing. This year, he's getting nothing out of nothing almost every time instead. He HAS stunk this year, even if it's - as you said - not entirely his fault.
It really sucks to see Rodgers like this. I was excited to watch him play just like I was excited to watch Favre be there back in '08 and that didn't go well for the Jets either but at least they started the season 8-3 that year. Gave them some excitement and hope. This has just been an abject failure.
The difference is, Favre still knew his role and became part of the team. Rodgers came in acting like he was the team and everyone else needed to get in line. Rodgers is a million times more toxic as a player than Favre ever was.
@williamhermann6635 I completely agree. Whatever else you can say about Favre, he absolutely loved the game. I'm not sure Rodgers does, at least not anymore. I think he loves it more as a platform to speak from than the actual game
@@james_library It really feels like all the MVPs and people putting him in the hallowed "he might be the GOAT instead of Brady" conversation fueled his ego to the point that he's stopped trying to be a teammate at all. Everything is Aaron's way... or the highway. And you can't do that and be successful in the NFL; chemistry and being able to trust your teammates is the "secret sauce" that elevates teams beyond how good they should be on paper. That's my take, at least.
A team is mainly as good as it's Quarterback, and Aaron is letting them down He talks like he's still an elite Quarter back, and putting blame on other players but him
Rodgers could still ball if he were on the Lions I bet. He just can't move like he used to and needs more around him than before. He knows ball and can still throw, it's his escapability that's washed.
I hate to laugh at Rodgers he was so great for so long. GPG. But I will shake my head and roll my eyes. I think he tried to will it to happen and bit off way more than he can chew. Thursday is must win otherwise fake an injury after the game and straight up retire. You got the money you got the fame... Id go on a long vacation away from the spot light for a while
Packers sold them a lemon
lol
All sales are final.
You can't sell, what someone already wants. The Jets wanted Aaron and Aaron wanted the Jets. All the Packers did, was set the price.
Rodgers has become morale poison for his team. I used to love him, but after dealing with this kind of thing for a few seasons, I'd never want him back in GB.
Be careful Gentlemen, Aaron is going to be your starting QB next year 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Right! 😂
Ziggy's point about Adams only being in the building for 4 days and only knowing what Rodgers has told him and immediately diagnosing the team as "soft" is really spot on.
Packers fans tried to warn them ... Funny how so many people said the Jets got the better of the trade at first.
Rodgers should retire and sign with the Vikings next year. GO PACK GO!
The Packers fan in me would hate that but for the meme it would be glorious 😂
OMG I want that to happen, but I couldn't wish that on the guys here! Then again, they WOULD get lots of views......
@@sebastianm.2901 Vikings Fans are damn near delusional as a the cowboys 😬

GB no longer wanted Rodgers. What does that tell you. He blames everyone else. Retire.
The Jets will never trade with the Packers again. 😅😅
Too early to admit the Packers fleeced the Jets, and they were 100% right to move on from him?

Aaron Rodgers last few years with the Packers, you could see him slowing down.

Please remember to recycle those Rodgers jerseys Jets fans. There are people in Central America that still can use them.
Too many individual players, no team

Nah, not even hell wants Aaron Rodgers lol
Bad teams need a great kicker a lot more than good teams because they can't score TDs.
Can’t wait till next year when he’s on the Vikings 😂

Aaron Rodgers is the Trump of football
Over/under when Packers trade Jordan Love to Jets is set at 2036.
The Jets defense is not good this year

So good

All those ass hats! Saying the jets going to SB! Meaning jets fans! Yes I can see the jets having a fire sale at the end of the year

REMEMBER THIS COMMENT: Jets/Bills week 17 will be a very very very important game. It's hard to believe right now, but it will be.
I love Aaron but ngl I’m glad we moved on 😅😢
Packers fan here: Rodgers was washed in 2022. Yeah, he was MVP the year before, but when the bottom drops out for QBs, it happens fast.
GPG baby

Brace yourself next year he will be a Viking and go on his GreenBay revenge tour win another MVP but lose in an NFC Championship game.
