The Jeep Grand Cherokee and this is for years 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 and 2021.
I am not a professional installer but I do like to do so and I hope by making the video I help you along the way.
You will need a 7mm socket with the ratchet.
You can also install a backup camera if you don’t have one with this upgrade.
Also you can add a subwoofer and more.

Hi, thanks for the detailed howto. Please clarify the following if possible:
1 Does the screen dim when headlights are on? It looks too bright for the night ride.
2 Does default rear camera work and dynamic markup is shown as well?
3 How it the sound now worse/better? Can you make the sound quiet at low levels of the volume? Had experience with Chinese android heads and they could be too loud even on the volume level = 1.
Hello, thank you for asking, it does dim, it is optional, or you can dim it manually.
if your vehicle already has a camera then it will look the same, if it does not then adding the camera , it will have the markings that you can turn on or off. The sound after playing around with the settings got better. but it should be the same because the unit does not have an amplifier, and yes you can control the volume. This unit had the volume low, I had to play around to get it to be normal. Best to you.

Does this support the factory heated seat and heated steering wheel functions as well? Great video, informative.
I did one on a f150 not too long ago. All functions worked. Everything plugged in no wiring cutting just plug in. I am thinking about getting one for our jeep.

The radio antenna on mine doesn't work when I hook it up to the car antenna(grey plug)
Hello and thank you for sharing, I would try plugging it to the other plug if you do not have a GPS on the original radio, they are both antennas anyway just different uses. Hope that helps, please advice. Best to you.

Hello and thank you for asking, This jeep did not have original USB drives, perhaps yours does and I think you would be able to keep both since on my Lexus I am able to use both, sorry I cannot be more helpful. Best to you.

Good question, I'm not sure at this time, I can try to figure it out, but it might be simple, like just zeros or 1234, try those in the time being while I try it myself when I get a chance, best to you.
