There is no need for marriage legislation for LGBT. They could have have different civil partnership law. Most of LGBT people believe in open marriages and are promiscuous anyway. Marriage institution is for men and women who build a family.
That is not at all true that most gay people are promiscuous. Also marriage gives them legal rights. It gives them rights to make decisions on each others behalf and more security.
Same sex marriage not just LGBTQ+ marriage. It will made people can sign in hospital paper for treatment their couple. Or made people have right in their couple holding.
