One thing I really appreciate about the dynamic of your home is how you allow all the kids to enjoy their childhood regardless if they are a teenager or toddlers. One thing I have seen firsthand with big families is that the older kids somehow become the younger kids' parents, and have to basically be forced to give up their adolescent years because their parents either A don't have the time or energy to do it or B simply because they just don't want to do it. Sadly, the main reason I've seen is that the parents enjoy not having to take on their obligations anymore and/or think that they are teaching their kids responsibility when it's actually causing more harm than good. However, on your channel, I do not see that. All the kids look like they are thriving in their youth regardless of what age they are at, and enjoying their lives as kids should. Thank you for that
Part of me agrees with you, but another part of me doesn't. Since I could remember, I've always taken care of my little brothers. I even helped my mother change their diapers when I was as young as eight years old. As I got older, I helped around the house with chores, sometimes I made dinner, sometimes I watched my brothers when my mom had to work late. Honestly, I still had an amazing childhood and I wouldn't change anything. There was a perfect balance between my mother parenting and me being the big sister that my brothers looked up to. Those responsibilities that I had growing up, prepared me for so much and it made me into the person I am today. I recall going to college and having friends that didn't even know how to use the laundry machine. So, I think a healthy balance of responsibility is important, especially if you have siblings.
@@becca2938 oh no I totally agree with you that there needs to be a balance. However I have seen families who literally let their older kids raise the younger kids. Try letting those kids who suffer from GI issues drink some kombucha, coconut lime and blackberry by Humm is all my family's favorite. Works in minutes and natural. When I found out for myself, I had eaten sausage patties on an egg/muffin sandwich and then went shopping for my older daughters who were in college and grabbed an apple spice kombucha cause it sounded good, 3 minutes after drinking just a little swig I was experiencing relief, then my husband spoke up about his indigestion and I explained that I too was suffering earlier after what we ate for breakfast and was now 100% after a drink of my kombucha, and he looked at me with disbelief, and I said go ahead and suffer if you want, and in 2 minutes he grabbed my bottle and took a drink, within 5 minutes he was on board. 7:17 although canned peaches are great for a crisp when needed... The Peach Truck delivers to my area next week, Tuesday I think is my pickup day. Its a half bushel of peaches picked and trucked from Georgia to me same day. Well, me and 100 other people who reserve a box in a 2 hour pickup window in a random store or parking lot nearby. If there is any chance The Peach Truck comes anywhere near you, they are DELISH. Worth having to deal with so many ripe peaches just days after you get your box. and they come by at least twice a season. This is our third year, skipping 2020...next week already, yum! Can't wait!
There are a few things I find neat, 1 for having a family of 14 it’s good to go with the bargain brand stuff as it saves money while still paying a whole lot, 2 some of the dishes you say you will have on a specific day or just what you say you guys you will have is pretty unique and 3 having set days where you have a idea of what to have is very cool as it gives you a idea of what to get as you don’t have to scrounge up ideas for the meals (all of what I am saying is pretty much what I like about these grocery shopping videos)
Hi from London, I love watching you with your lovely family. My handy tip, which might save you time: all fridge items/frozen goes in one colour bag and the cupboard stuff goes in a different colour/style bag. That way the most important things which need to get put away gets done immediately and the rest can be done later. You are an amazing mum, when do you sleep?
You are my inspiration! I aspire to be the mother you are. You are so attentive to their needs and so loving. Your smile is so infectious! We need more people like you in this world. Keep being you.

I always buy that Betty Crocker blueberry muffin mix in bulk on Amazon! I use the box recipe and add in frozen mixed berries (usually 1/4-1/2 a small bag of berries per box). I bring them to work and everyone asks for the “secret recipe”. They’re seriously so good.

I am amazed at your planning - you put so much thought and effort into your kids and their food. They're lucky to have you! I have to admit - whenever I watch these, I think of how much plastic you guys must go through. In Europe, it woudn't be sustainable to get the plastic cups and such - they're much harder to get here, and actually quite expensive. I would probably get each kid their own personal glass and dump them all into the dishwasher every evening.
yay another grocery haul!! i truly enjoy your day in the life videos as well as grocery hauls!! since watching your shopling hauls has really given me some great tips and tricks w my own shopping. for example how you set your grocery list has made me enjoy doing similar if not the same set up for mine and boy has it been easier truly. not only that but seeing how you make all your kids feel heard loved and valued makes me enjoy even more just watching your videos!! keep it up your such an amazing soul thank you for what your doing for your kiddos and your friends kids!! you are a true saint!!❤☺

Second comment on this video sorry but I also just thought of maybe one day you could do the 23&me dna tests on the kiddos for fun to see where they’re from! Then you could also base a dinner per kiddo off of what their highest percentage origin is and let them pick the dinner from that place with the highest percentage on their results ! Another bonus is they get to learn about theirselves in a way where they can skip completely over their past but still learn about their LONG TERM history. I.e. one of them could be 50% Irish, 46% German, then BAM, an extra neat surprise 4% Asian (bc none of them look Asian so that’s why I used this example)… I hope this reads like I am trying to explain it 😂 … maybe I’m just too into history BUT I just thought it would be an AWESOME addition to your around the world theme and a great video topic for TH-cam views!

Money-saving tip for everyone: I usually get an Rx for my kids allergy meds (as well as anything that is also sold OTC) bc the insurance covers it! Or use a flex spending card if you have it. Allergy medicine can really be pricey for multiple people
Here in Canada most otc items aren’t covered my insurance. Unless you’re indigenous and then sometimes it is. It’s crazy how different pharmacies and rules are around the world
Love watching these, always stressed about the frozen cart waiting for you though hahahaha. I think I underestimate how frozen things are! Always expecting them to melt faster.
one thing tho you should take everything that goes to the freezer at the end bc it can be dangerous if the products thaw and return to the freezer afterwards
I watched a video by a food scientist that debunked that theory recently. Unless it’s chicken, it’s generally ok to refreeze. I’m not sure if it’s correct, but out of an abundance of caution, I don’t let things thaw or if they’re just chilled I don’t leave them out of the fridge either. But I did find that video interesting.
I have no idea why I so enjoy watching you shop! It’s very relaxing! My son came into my room and said mom what are you watching and I said I’m watching someone grocery shop and he just smiled 😃
Hi from Sweden! I love to watch your grocery haul. I must say Im a little surprised that you don’t get the icecream and other freezer things last. I get super stressed watching that 🥰🤣
I enjoy you hall videos. Do you think about doing more bulk hauls that can save you money possibly. Do you think about prices? I get some people don’t because there isn’t a need. I get with 12 kids convenience is super important due to time. Thank you for sharing.
Right?! 🤪 Even my one basket load of shopping has to END with back tracking to the frozen section last to have a snowball’s chance of making it home non-drippy. ??
Packing them all one on top of another does help keep them frozen… but obviously something she does is working as she continues to do it… if she went home with running ice creams etc I’m sure she’d hear about it asap 😅
Heyyy Alicia, I have a biiiiiig question for You. I was in the USA years ago. I miss the Waffles from EGGO in the Frigde. Could You ask,If they Would send it germany?😅
Your family should try watermelon Slushy It's pretty easy to make all you need is a blender ice And honey and watermelon if it doesn't blend all the way just add water . it Helps
Question just out of curiosity!! Do you get the muffin mix cause it’s easier to throw together or is it cause the kids like the taste of pre made muffin mix? I could definitely understand I was some what a picky child myself and and my kid is a picky little man as well! Also Thank you for everything you do for them kiddos and all the work and love you put into their lives individual and as a family!!!WE NEED MORE MAMAS LIKE YOU💗💗💗
Hi, I have a suggestion! Maybe if you buy some crates, you can put your groceries in them and then you can put those in your car. Maybe it’ll be easier to get the groceries in and out of the car and it takes up less space. Love your channel and kindness! Keep up the good work ♥️
When you say ‘paper bags for the kids snack for school’ what does that look like? Do they pick their own snacks for school each day and put them in the bag? It’s separate from your lunch prep?

I love this. Its so exciting. We were raised extremly different in regards to food. We never had fast or junkfood, my mum did everything from scratch, we were allowed one treat a day after lunch, snacktime was fruit and veg, we never ever had pringels or similar stuff, yoghurt was plain without added sugar and self made and we cut fruit, herbs and spices in, but never sugar, no cereal... Its so mindblowing that 80% of everything she buys on a regular basis never would have made it in our cart. Makes me wonder what we ate 😀
I'm scared to put anything in my cart these days. I try to eat mainly fruits and vegetables.. high nutrient dense foods while low calorie-dense.. that's the key to health..
Yay! Grocery shopping time. I absolutely love your videos! I’ve noticed a trend and not sure if it’s like the strange object in Jason’s lunchbox but you seem to make a small mistake in each shopping trip. Today’s was when you grabbed black beans for taco Tuesday but you called them black olives. 😉

The way you pay attention to each kid and what they want to eat is so kind! The dedication to all these videos is amazing! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍🤎💗
You pretty much buy the same stuff most weeks but I STILL LOVE watching you shop! I don’t understand it. Something very comforting about it. You always make me chuckle when you throw vs place things in the buggy. It’s so me! 🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️from 🇨🇦
It's comforting because she can throw a bunch of each item into her carts! Where else do you see this type of shopping haul?
I find these videos so soothing. Grocery shopping when the store is empty is almoat therapeutic. Thanks for sharing!
I`m in the Uk ,and our shores generally arent` as big as yours.I still like to shop first thing or last ,it`s definitely more quiet and they`ve usually restocked everything:)x
You are an amazing mum, when do you sleep?
im definitely going to use that, so much easier than digging through all of the plastic bags just to find the cold items 😭😭
@@kennaluvschu Hi, I know it works well for me x
Yes! Hi from Sussex (Uk here too:).I`ve always done the fresh/frozen bags ,but i`m not as organised as Alicia:) x
@@Joy-qw3wm I know, I think she's amazing, have a good day!
You are my inspiration! I aspire to be the mother you are. You are so attentive to their needs and so loving. Your smile is so infectious! We need more people like you in this world. Keep being you.
Thank you!!!
I RARELY comment on any videos, but I had to. Alicia, I LOVE your family, you are a super mom and an inspiration. I love watching your videos and love how well you all work together. Happy fathers day to Josh, and keep those videos coming! Love watching them!
I love that you got all three shades of the band-aids ! You are an awesome mom !
I didn't even know they existed. Here in Canada I've never seen them.
@@nwilson7342 I was so happy when I spotted them!!! And it was so cute, my cashier was an older teen and he was excited to see them too! He hadn’t noticed them on the shelves before.
I literally said out loud, “parent of the year right there.” When I saw her get all three
She pays special attention to their skin and hair too. Everyday without fail, she makes sure to lotion up their faces and make their hair soft and nice. Such beautiful skin.
ikr she’s so truly caringggg and sweet
I always buy that Betty Crocker blueberry muffin mix in bulk on Amazon! I use the box recipe and add in frozen mixed berries (usually 1/4-1/2 a small bag of berries per box). I bring them to work and everyone asks for the “secret recipe”. They’re seriously so good.
What make do you buy?
Sorry just saw you buy B C
Awww he wanted bandaids that matched his skin tone. 🥺😭❤️❤️ I remember coloring my bandaids with a brown marker back in elementary because I was so embarrassed to wear one. 😂😂😂
That is so cute he wanted bandaids to match his skin. Sometimes something such as that is going to make them feel special. 🥰
Anyone else notice at 6:30 when she said "Black olives for taco salad on Tuesday." and grabbed Black beans? HAHA love it! Love this family and these are so relaxing i look forward to these shopping videos
Yes, hoping she realized it.
thank god someone else noticed too lol
I noticed and instantly went to the comments to see if anyone else noticed lol.
Yes, and the cheeto puffs, but they were the regular cheetos and I was like noooo I thought they liked the puffs one better! Lol, watching a bunch of her hauls I feel like I've kind of grasp what some of the snacks they like. I'm too invested. 😂
I just want to say thank you for buying Jordan bandaids in his skin tone ... it's something so small that means so much and all of those kids are blessed to have you!
I would looooove to see you guys do a pantry forage challenge! people get creative with the stuff they have leftover or just little bits left in bags or boxes. it gets really wild but also cool.
I always save the colored milk caps so no matter what type of milk I have it's always the right color of cap, haha.
Happy Fathers Day Josh , always look forward to these grocery halls & im watching all the way from Nz 🧡
There is something just so calming about your videos. Thanks for sharing your life and your family with us! ❤️
What a wonderful example of humanity....kindness in every aspect of life. The practical aspect if looking afte all those children is fabulous and shows how much they are loved.Congratulatooms to fabulous
Kind human beings especially Alicua.
Happy Father's Day Josh. I'm so curious to know what's on the menu for around the world Juneteenth meal? So happy the family acknowledges the Holiday, that's so dope!
Dope means stupid and dumb
Exactly if you need recipes my grandmother made a cookbook on soul food and cakes from scratch it would be cool to send you one of them.
@@Aimeeprettyfrugal :0 soul food, you’ve intrigued me. Where can I buy this book?
@@Aimeeprettyfrugal please comment the name of the book, ty!!
You can only get it from me.
I’m so impressed with how organized you are! I like planning out my meals too. It’s such a time and money saver! I’m going to have to start organizing my grocery list by section of the grocery store. That’s so smart 😊
Same. It's ridiculous how spaced out everything is.
@@samg873 that’s how they get you to buy more 😉
@@FrugalLifeThriftyWife true. I fall for it every time except this last grocery shopping trip I didn't. I have a lot going on health wise so I fall for comfort food not nutrition. Trying to change that
@@samg873 I fall for it a lot too, but now that things are pretty tight money wise I’m trying better to stick to my list. I hope things get better for you health wise ❤️
@@FrugalLifeThriftyWife hopefully after my hernia surgery they do. I had vaccine last May and not even 4 months after my life spiraled out of control. Got sepsis then a joint disease and now a hernia
I just recently learned this about watermelon….
Big deep yellow spot & brown scratches/veins on the sides(these are sugar cracks) = sweet & ripe
Yay for summer produce in N.Y.🥰
Yes! Those ones are the best! They taste like candy!
And heavy for its size.
Ohhhhh 🤩🤯🙏
I find these so entertaining I look forward to these videos every week I'm only 17 but once I'm financially stable and grown I wanna foster you're definitely an inspiration
You are so adorable. I love how you know what each of the children's favorite foods are. And Happy Father's Day Josh.❤️
my mind is blown how do you afford all those groceries I have to add every thing I want in my head and I still end up aggrivated with the cost of food! bless you with your patience i dont know where you get patience from you are one of a kind
I enjoy grocery shopping so much, and these videos feel like tagging along on a good friend’s grocery trip. Your videos are a joy to watch!
I'm amazed you don't appear to be buying in bulk or cutting back in anyway on groceries. It's great you don't have to worry about expenses. Your obviously doing something right.
She does go to Costco, just not super often because it's not close by. She does huge hauls when she does go though.
Well good evening family 🤗🤗 Happy Father's Day to Josh hope he enjoys the rest of the day with your beautiful family!! So happy to be here for yet another Haul🌹🌹♥️♥️
love watching your videos!! I truly dont know how you remember all of these things and youre so inclusive to all of your kids... everytime you make a video I find it so relaxing to watch, listen to, and honestly learn a little from! thank you for being awesome!
I love these grocery hauls! I love how you stay on a list. Really motivates me to grocery list when I shop!
🧡🧡🧡
I love grocery haul ~ I love seeing all the different brands and foods that different countries have 🦋
I love your shopping vlogs! Maine has no Wegman's. We have Market basket instead.
Happy Father's day to your husband! You all are lucky to have him, but you know that. 😁
Best Green Tomatoes for frying are the ones that are green and are slightly turning orange. TRUST ME!! They are way better. Being from Ga, we eat these all summer long...hard and fully green tomatoes dont have much flavor. You wanted the green with oranges ones!
This is literally therapeutic, thank you for the amazing content really appreciate it
People say there is no guide to being a mom. But there is! It’s Alisha’s guide. Peak parenting and being a good person ❤
Happy Father's Day Josh. Enjoy your day with your wonderful family.
Alicia love all your grocery hauls for some reason it relaxes me, and I love to see all the new things that are out there to purchase for my family as well.
Love your earrings very pretty. 💜💕❤️
Have a wonderful weekend and God Bless you and your family
I've added a folder in my TH-cam library of just y'all!! ❤ & now I'm saving all of your vids that keep popping up to be able to watch later ❤ I LOVE all your videos & you have such a beautiful family!! ❤
I don't know why but these and what the kids ate today are my favorite videos!! You do such a great job with everything 🥰
I had soo much anxiety but a calming shopping trip video helps a lot!! Thank you so much, this helped more than you know.
When I saw you get those bandages..girl your amazing that was so inclusive for the kids. Also shopping tip: when you add meats to your cart put them in a veggie bag. Even if the meat isn’t leaking it could pop or have juice from another one that was leaking.
HEY! as a kid who plays game i recommend rechargeable batteries for the controllers!! u charge them and just keep using them up then charging them up again! lots of meony saved on batteries!!
You have one amazing journey Mama! All the loves you have influenced is quite awesome! The kiddos you have loved and I’m sure will love will leave a bigger and better impact on this world than you can imagine- keep on keeping on - happy Father’s Day to your hubby and all the Grandpas and Fathers in your life!!🥰
You are such an amazing mum how you cater to all your kids needs and wants. And when you got the 3 different coloured band aids that was so respectful to your children. Loves you from England xxx
Can't believe I get a kick out of watching you shop.....but I do! You guys are awesome!!
Oh my goodness. The skin color matching bandaids for Jordan. ♥️♥️♥️
Omg this is exactly what I needed! I had some people important exams this week and this video was really comforting. Thank you Alicia!
Yay its shopping time haul, i love watching these videos - i feel like im shopping with you. Gotta love Pringles.........😘 xx
Hope Josh had a lovely fathers day x
Im watching from UK, love your videos xx
Love these hauls but I really want to push the trolley and pack the groceries in for you 🤣 I am slightly ocd on how groceries go in the trolley
one thing tho you should take everything that goes to the freezer at the end bc it can be dangerous if the products thaw and return to the freezer afterwards
Only 1 bag of greens for 14? How do you prepare and stretch them?
Absolutely love the band aids I've never seen those! Also did you like the guacamole chips? They are my favorite! Happy Father's Day💙
I have no idea why I so enjoy watching you shop! It’s very relaxing! My son came into my room and said mom what are you watching and I said I’m watching someone grocery shop and he just smiled 😃
The thought of just carrying all that in drives me crazy 🤪!!! Lol Bless you and Josh for all you do for those beautiful children!!❤
would love to see how you organise the groceries in the fridge and cabinets
Hi from Sweden!
I love to watch your grocery haul. I must say Im a little surprised that you don’t get the icecream and other freezer things last. I get super stressed watching that 🥰🤣
Maybe they put the freezer cart in the walk in while she continues shopping
Hello..Yes u want to look for a yellow bottom(sit longer on the ground) and also the stripes on the watermelon should be wide..
Love these!
I enjoy you hall videos. Do you think about doing more bulk hauls that can save you money possibly. Do you think about prices? I get some people don’t because there isn’t a need. I get with 12 kids convenience is super important due to time. Thank you for sharing.
What is your trick for keeping the frozen snacks frozen while doing a haul this big? I’m so worried everything will melt I race home! Lol
Loved watching as always! I’m excited to see the Father’s Day vlog! 🧡🧡
Hey Alicia, collard greens, like spinach cook down alot so you will need more than one bag.
my favorite part of starting a new week!!🤍
🥰🥰🥰
Keep up the good work ♥️
Mother Dougherty amazes us once again ...super fun watching your grocery haul vlog 😃😇😇
When you say ‘paper bags for the kids snack for school’ what does that look like? Do they pick their own snacks for school each day and put them in the bag? It’s separate from your lunch prep?
You are a PHENOMENAL mom &person in general!!!!You are so caring and grab groceries that each kid enjoys ,not many moms are this way It stands out to me bc I'm the same way with my kids !!!!!You are a great mom I cant stress that enough and you gave those kids a life theyd never ever have with someone else!!!!!you are loved you are beautiful and I'm proud of you honey!!!!!!!!👍👍🥰💕❤💙😍🤩
Buy rechargeable batteries instead. Saves money and you don't need to buy them often. There are even solar charger for batteries.
I’d love to see a video of the round the world Monday! Especially soul food being from South Georgia love to see what you do with it!
Happy Fathers Day Josh! You are right Alicia it is most def an awesome food day!! WOW I cannot believe the price of King Crab legs that is just crazy!!!!! I love them so much but I just cant rationalize spending that much on them boo hoo! One of these days maybe I will treat myself and also wow the price of clams are insane too! They are also a favorite of mine! Thank you for sharing your shopping trips with us they are my favorite videos of yours to watch! I hope you are all having a wonderful day celebrating an amazing dad your kiddos are lucky to have him and vise versa! Love you guys!
Same! We never had treats. Rarely. These kids are lucky
you need coupons. u buy a lot. you're getting each kid exactly what they need or want. such a great mom.
I only have one son who’s moved out already, but watching these videos makes me want to shop like you!
Me too! If only I could drop a bunch of groceries into my cart!
Same! Lol!
I'm scared to put anything in my cart these days. I try to eat mainly fruits and vegetables.. high nutrient dense foods while low calorie-dense.. that's the key to health..
ive been waiting for this video!!! these videos are honestly my favorite because i love grocery shopping, i wish i could help you and go with you!
I find it really impressive that you can remember what each kid likes.
How much do you spend on groceries in a month? I can’t even imagine.
I was wondering the same thing. Seems like she grabs whatever she wants. Which is great, just expensive
alicia your smile is so infectious😃...i find myself smiling eveytime you smile and believe me i am not a smil-er, lol!
if you havnt done England yet my favourite food to eat is pie mash liquor (like parsley sauce)
savaloy piece pudding butter beans carrots
Fagats mash carrots
bread pudding ( not bread butter pudding)
