    Great video, thanks. Looks like I'm sticking with the V6 until they release a Micro Absolute with a carpet head or move other machines over to the new tool fitting and I can buy one separately.
    I'm not short of vintage machines but it's really handy to have a modern cordless around for quick cleanups. Can't bring myself to buy a Shark...

    @ 8:48 I just noticed the exit hole for very large particles like cheerios seems to be a fair bit bigger then the exit hole on their bigger cordless vacs like the V15, kinda odd if you ask me.

    Not a bad looking machine. It’s ok for a small apartment or as a handheld. I think I personally would buy a V11 or a V15. Hopefully soon I will be able to buy one. In your opinion, would a V15 be worth buying over the V11 or should I just save the money and buy a V11?

  • @scottd1432
    @scottd1432 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I think the omni is better in a few ways. But mainly because of the two sided fluffy head, you can wave it back and fourth without having to overlap strokes, so you can cover a wider area faster despite the width.
    But still, lack of ability to clean carpets is a downfall. And the omni is nearly twice the price as that shark here in the USA....so I'm inclined to agree with you there.

    If I was looking for a dedicated hard floor vacuum, I'd say the omni-glide would be superior 👌
    It's such a shame Dyson didn't put the Torque drive head on the Micro 1.5KG, cos that'd have made it the perfect replacement for the still good but aging V6 👍
    I believe there is a V12 Detect coming that also has a on/off switch instead of a trigger and it also has the screen and the laser fluffy head that it's larger brother, the V15 detect has.

    • @CORNERofTECH

      If the V12 Detect Slim has a small torque drive head, you can use it on the Micro 1.5Kg.

  • @ZunarZulfiqar
    @ZunarZulfiqar 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The one thing I HATE about every Dyson I've owned and own is how cheap the materials are. Like, I own an $800 Dyson that squeaks and cracks by just holding it.
    Also, why can't they just make it easier to clean out the metal mesh or the cyclones? I've had my mesh clog up on several occasions and it took prying and bending like crazy just to get the mesh off in order to clean it. Why can't we just twist it off like how their filters work?
    I love my Dysons, but I'm honestly sick of how crappy they are. I've broken nearly every Dyson I've owned, and I baby them.
    They are ridiculously expensive, but built to die in a year.

    Bagless... sorry, I just don't get it. Had a Dyson DC41,,, hated it. Bulky, heavy, and bagless is absolutely filthy technology.
    Sebo Essential G4 all the way. Bagless reminds me of the days of the red Kirby with a dump out bag. We're not supposed to have to handle the dirt after it enters the vac. I'd rather replace a bag every few months (yes I have many pets) then wipe out a bagless dirt drum.

    • @Olliebobalong
      @Olliebobalong 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You have rotting a decomposing dirt and matter in that bag over weeks or months. There is a reason they start smelling and another reason they fail most filtration tests by British and American allergy foundations. If you’re that fussy about getting a damp cloth and wiping out a plastic bin then you should never handle any diet in garden, or wash up crockery or clean down your kitchen worktops.

    • @darkhallucination
      @darkhallucination 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Olliebobalong I suppose that's your opinion just like the above is mine.
      I haven't found any info showing genuine Sebo bags failed the British Allergy Foundation tests. As a matter of fact they're Sebo S Class filtration is better than HEPA standards in the US.
      Not to mention, no Dyson product is approved by the Carpet and Rug Institute (which is the governing body for all carpet and vacuum standards in the US, in fact, no bagless vac is approved by the CRI).

    • @MrWolfSnack
      @MrWolfSnack 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Olliebobalong Number one - if you do not vacuum that much to fill a bag in 1 week's trash, then get a smaller bagged canister with a smaller bag. Number two - they have charcoal lined bags or charcoal pellets you put in the bag to absorb odors. Number three - allergy ratings mean nothing because you do not live in the USS Space Station. You are supposed to be exposed to dust and germs to keep your immune system strong - why do you think people that spend all their time indoors and sanitizing everything are always so damn sick all the time? Imagine how much comes into your house when you open your windows - IF you even do that. Number four - bagless vacuums are a crock because what do you think happens when you empty the bin and have to rinse the filters out? You get all that dust and dirt in the air and on your hands and everywhere else, and then it sits in the open garbage bin.
      A lot of ignorant millenials are lazy as hell and like to throw out all these weak excuses why "bagless vacuums are so great" because they do not know how to buy spare bags for vacuums and keep their equipment maintained. They also subscribe to the false hype that everything has to be new, and "bags are old fashioned grandpa stuff". Doesn't work like that chief.
      I can tell you for a definite fact that a properly maintained bagged vacuum fully restored does not put out any dust or debris. Even if it did, my basement is full of dust and dirt and I have spiders that run around any time I move something. I have never been sick or had the flu in over 8 years.

      @elliotcarver6606 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This vacuum is perfect for elderly or people with dexterity problems it has an on off switch no trigger and is small light and compact.
      I have a Kirby and even I have difficulties at the age of 43 having to shove the thing around and drag it up and down stairs because it is heavy and it is built to last they are amazing machines the pickup is outstanding but unfortunately they just impractical to have to manoeuvre in straight lines backwards and forwards even with tech drive and then having to plan your cleaning for above floor and floor cleaning due to having to convert the unit.
      I ended up buying a lindhaus rx and selling the Kirby because it was just getting too much like hard work and a chore to clean top to bottom.
