I visited Africa almost 40 years ago and it was a life changing experience. I wanted my family to experience it too. Africa is full of amazing sights, people, places and cultures. And, the wine!
To say it was exciting would be an enormous understatement. They were only feet away from us and the tracker could have easily touched at least one (at the cost of their life, I'm sure). They had eaten overnight and were ready to sleep the hot part of the day away. We were told they see the vehicle as a part of the environment and don't see them or us as prey. we're more like a moving part of the landscape.

How did it feel to be so close to the lions? The lions just walked in front of the car and not being aggressive at all?
