You should see it in person! It was definitely dropped fresh. It's in a safe place.

The guy who was digging the bottles and broke that one was not who found the bottle dump. He did buy the cherry bitters bottle from the guy who found the pit for a couple hundred dollars though.

The guy that was digging wasn't the one who found the pit, he was only helping dig out the bottles.

We are planning on returning for the spring event ,it will be at a different location. The horse stable was next to where they dug the bottles.
The more videos i watch on this subject the more interesting i am! Man i have to get involved in one of these big sites, looks like sooo much fun. Idc if i find anything of value lol one day ill def be there with you guys, for sure!
It's alot of fun, but we don't always find treasure everytime we go out. It's the trill of the hunt.

The hook you found looks like the end of a snap. The kind that you push the latch in to release.

Most privy holes are roughly 4 to 6 feet wide and 4 to 6 feet deep

I’m new at detecting but I’m going to save up to enter next year. I live in Reading so that’s very close to where I’m at. Looks like a lot of fun. The collective gasp when that bottle neck broke was cinematic history. Thanks for sharing.

Yes the rest of the pit was dug, not many more bottles were found. We didn't want to make the video to long.

Sorry guys but the way you dug that bottle was terriblly amateur it doesn't make any sense to me because I see a few guys that have been in the game for a long while. I was waiting for it to get broken just by the way it was being handled. I am just glad it wasn't a rare bottle and it was just a plain cabalt. Take your time and get them out safely. Awesome video no matter what happened thanks for sharing
