This car is perfect for British road. Its small, economical and fun to drive. 5th gear is a bit long, best for highway's. Love from Malaysia

I own one of these, and due to its weight, it could keep up with larger cars. Fun around the car parks and comfortable place to be in on long distances. Love my Kelisa. From Malaysia

the best part about cars like these are that they feel fast going not that fast.
it was my first car and it is still my all time favourite cars.

I own the Daihatsu Mira Gino that this car is based on in Japan. It looks very similar to a Rover Mini. The Perodua Kelisa has an in-line 3-cylinder engine of 989cc, while the Mira Gino is smaller and has an in-line 3-cylinder engine of 659cc. Perfect for Japan's narrow roads. from Japan

I've been driving this car since my college days, and it’s been incredibly reliable for my daily commute to work. The fuel efficiency is excellent, making it a great choice for my regular drives. Love from Malaysia.

I daily in my 2004 kelisa, short distance and long distance not a problem, lovely engine and has been reliable and fuel efficient. Has 250K milage on it and still running strong, beat on it quite a lot too 😅 Love it to bits and never selling it ❤

My family owns one. We've had it for almost 8 years now. We were the 3rd owners at 150,000 km and daily driving it. This car is just perfect.

I know exactly what you mean. A long time ago I bought myself a second hand Subaru justy cvt. Of course it had issues with the contacts on the gas pedal to activate or cut the magnetic clutch that came with the cvt instead of a tork converter. I was given another car during the repair job, also a justy, equally 1000 cc but a manual one. The car was utterly filthy but it was sooooo much fun. The sound was the best part, resembling a bit the sound of an older Porsche with a flat 6. And it was a very briskly car for only having 50 horsepower, much quicker than my cvt (which was a kind of bad purchase...should have taken a 12 cc with the cvt instead of the entry 1000 cc one) . But in the manual version it was actually so much fun that I decided to completely clean the car hoping that I would be allowed to keep it as a trade in for my cvt one (yong and naive) which wasn't the case, of course. Even worse, they were so pleased with my cleaning job that they actually decided to sell it as a second hand car as well...

I was lucky enough to grab myself one of these about 4 weeks ago with about 46k on it, same spec as yours, and my mate thought it was a joke.... till I let him drive it! I liken it too be like driving a real life Mario Kart, so nippy off the lights and even with a tiny engine, the thing really wants to go!

you can punish those parking idiots that park over the line by squeezing in the gap that they thought no car can fit in and it will piss them.

Btw, I think you should deffinitely try playing some sim racing games. You can pick up a decent cheap used wheel at CeX for 150 pounds. It's not only fun but it does teach you the ins and outs of driving fast and handling your car.

I have bought Cuore L7 for city driving after 2 years of dailying e36 328i. Fell in love within the first couple kilometers of driving it on the limit, ended up not being only city car, I do sometimes crazy distances with it. It is honestly the same level of fun as my 328i, just in a different way. Now we have 2 of them in family.
