I wasn’t brave enough to try the drone - Maya Bay was very busy and I could see multiple National Park rangers everywhere I turned. Shame! I’ve used my drone all over Phuket and used it at Phang Nga Bay to capture James Bond Island. I just couldn’t find an opportunity to fly it today while exploring the Phi Phi Islands.

No one really cared about drones to be honest - never had a hassle at all
