I have to say that one morning I was watching Good Morning America and found a women who was not from ANY country in Africa trying to make Jollof Rice. As you see below I have a comment on how many years and how I learned how to prepare Liberian food. When this women proceeded to boil that rice on top of the stove and called it Jollof Rice I got through to Good Morning America as the show was airing and told them that their guess had no CLUE of how to prepare Liberian food let alone her boiled Jollof Rice. They never had her as a "cook" guess on that show again. By the time I got finished talking to the producer he wanted to meet me. I told him I am not a gourmet cook I am a ordinary American women who knows Liberia and their food. So proud to see African chefs online teaching the world about this unbelievable good food. Bless You! As we both know Jollof of Rice is cooked in the oven at the end. (chuckling)

I am an American who had a Liberian roommate in college in the 70's. She was related to President Tolbert of who I had the honor of meeting when he came to our University to receive his Honoree Degree at Fairleigh Dickenson University. I have been cooking Liberian food for over 50 years now but will still come to these videos to see if there is anything that I forgot or if there is any Liberian dish that I have not cooked. I made Okra Sauce for my family many times. Thank you for your videos.

Thank you so much for all your videos. Thanks for taking the time to teach us how to cook. You are awesome. For years I had to call my friends to coach me when I tried to make Liberian food. I don't have to anymore. This means a lot to me. Thanks again. I shared your channel with others.
