I’m not surprised by his outbursts. I don’t really follow him but what he says is consistent to what I’ve heard from him in the recent past. People are shocked because the media has painted him as a firmly left wing politician but in reality he is more of a centrist leaning right. (that’s how he comes across when I listen to him speak).
Don’t let the media tell you what to think about a candidate. Listen to what they say and not how news anchors or hosts interpret their words for you so you won’t be shocked by who they really are.
Well, what Isko Moreno said is right. Every time a liberal candidate wants to run for public office, he/she always brings up the "heroism" of the Aquinos, when in fact none of them were. Ninoy's death was fully politicized and capitalized on by the LP. Two Aquino presidents and a senator, but his death is still unsolved. That makes us think, who really was behind Ninoy's death?
