Every single time, he says how much he likes her without clearly telling her. He tells her "I'm going to live near you" and stuff like that which is his way of saying "I like you a lot" but she wants him to clearly say it out loud. His personality might also stop him from saying the words so its hard for both of them.

And when she brought up the ‘What if’ we broke up when she was already struggling with family problems. Her ‘what ifs’ was her way of seeking help because she was in a deep turmoil caused by her unsaid thoughts.
For me, yoon soo's personality is more of words of affirmation then choi woong is an acts of service guy for his love language. I still like how the story goes so far ☺️☺️☺️
My advice to all the young guys and gals out there, when your partner ask you if you love/like them and you really do, just say it, just freaking say it. Sometimes simple words like that means the world to them. Don't regret it in the end like I did. 😅

Yeon Su's love language is words of affirmation, she values verbal acknowledgement and expression of affection through spoken words matters to her a lot (the way she fishes for those three words is just ugh, 😭💕) Meanwhile, Woong's style was more like "I'll show you how you mean to me with all these little things I do for you" (which I personally find adorable 🥺) Thank you, oh dramagods! I finally have something to look forward to every week again! These bickering- grow- old- with- you couple is adding color to my dull life 😤💕

I was just going to watch bc I love Dami in Itaewon class and Woosik in Youn's stay but I am so in love with the plot and how they executed this drama. And their chemistry and the other cast....ahhh just perfect.

Just that based on the two episodes she has asked for a break up several times before and he would talk her down from it, they finally broke up this time because he got tired of talking her down. Oh and in those 5 years it seems she has never told him she loves him too. it's a two way street and I feel you can hear a "I love you either if you ask directly or as a response to you saying it than to ask it after a series of annoying what ifs

I watch the 4 episodes for 3x now, lol, i love this so much, it’s just perfect, the leads, the chemistry, the cinematography, the osts being played during specific scenes, most of all, yes it’s a very cliche plot, but we all like it because at least half of us experienced the same thing.

When you watch this after having already watched eps 4-8, you kind of understand why Woong comes back to her.. there was actually a version of Yeon Su that was so in love with him she would keep fishing for affection.. asking questions like this.. pretending to still be sick just so he can nurse her to health?! I mean, she was so fucking in love too.. and I think Woong can sense it.. and he wants this kind of Yeon Su back.. I think Yeon Su has an Avoidant attachment style due to her circumstances (she grew up very independent and worried about their finances and safety and security).. her hyper independence is understandable, but I hope to God she learns to get past it because what's waiting for her is a loving puppy!!! I honestly think it's one of the reasons why they broke up, Choi Ung did not give Yeon Su concrete answers in her what-ifs. I guess she just wants to hear how much Choi Ung loves her. She wants an assurance but Choi Ung was childish before so he did not realize that.
Actually, woong already professed his love by his own way. You know the saying "Actions speak louder than words" it's what he was doing to her even tho he cannot express it by words of affirmation but instead by actual affectional service to Yeon-Su as his way of love for her. The only childish thing I can see is how Yeon-Su always asks questions of "What-ifs" which is toxic for him. You can't blame the guy who wants to chill, have a peaceful living with his lover and doesn't want to confront immature statements like "What-ifs". People who question everything in they're relationship needs to stop. Love is not a set of questionnaires in an exam.

When you love a person, their actions are already a huge asset to you in terms of affirmation. Just look at the older couples from past generations. They are compatible because they understand each other from head to toe without even saying any words. I'm sure they professed their feelings by words before but after years of spending time with each other you can automatically know what your partner is thinking without even saying anything. I myself is kinda like Yeon Su, I want to confirm someone's feelings toward me by asking because we may understand their actions differently. For example, someone is treating you differently, and you view it as romantic actions, but in reality, they just treat you special because they treat you as a younger brother/sister or whatever. or even with your friends, sometimes we would think someone is too sweet but they're normally just like that. And by asking, we'll find out what they truly feel, or if they think the same.

I honestly think it's one of the reasons why they broke up, Choi Ung did not give Yeon Su concrete answers in her what-ifs. I guess she just wants to hear how much Choi Ung loves her. She wants an assurance but Choi Ung was childish before so he did not realize that.
Actually, woong already professed his love by his own way. You know the saying "Actions speak louder than words" it's what he was doing to her even tho he cannot express it by words of affirmation but instead by actual affectional service to Yeon-Su as his way of love for her. The only childish thing I can see is how Yeon-Su always asks questions of "What-ifs" which is toxic for him. You can't blame the guy who wants to chill, have a peaceful living with his lover and doesn't want to confront immature statements like "What-ifs". People who question everything in they're relationship needs to stop. Love is not a set of questionnaires in an exam.
@@Stormreaver456 my point is, Yeon su wants to hear the words from Choi Ung himself. Maybe, yes, she's also childish for asking questions every freaking time but we cannot blame her for wanting to hear the words that she wants to hear. People are different when it comes to love, people might want actions more than words, but there are also people who want to know that they're love and appreciated through words.
@@alwaysyunki3937 If some people wanted words to confirm their affection to them then that is ridiculous. When you love a person, their actions are already a huge asset to you in terms of affirmation. It all stems to how committed you are in a relationship when you see your partner as expressive not in words but in actions but still you appreciate everything about that person. Just look at the older couples from past generations. They are compatible because they understand each other from head to toe without even saying any words. I'm sure they professed their feelings by words before but after years of spending time with each other you can automatically know what your partner is thinking without even saying anything. It's how committed they are to each other that they can survive as a couple.

When you can't understand how people accept or give love, then that's the only time you can tell a person dim. Besides, they're still young, how can you compare tested relationship of older people than those who just experience it for the first time. And asking hypothetical questions or what if's are toxic? I think you have a wrong gauge of what toxic really is. She may be was immature about asking questions and him acting cowardly about saying his feelings, but that is by far not toxic.
@@meow-ui5io I truly agree. Why can't @Yasser Sultan understand our point. This is just the reality. I myself is kinda like Yeon Su, I want to confirm someone's feelings toward me by asking because we may understand their actions differently. For example, someone is treating you differently, and you view it as romantic actions, but in reality, they just treat you special because they treat you as a younger brother/sister or whatever. or even with your friends, sometimes we would think someone is too sweet but they're normally just like that. And by asking, we'll find out what they truly feel, or if they think the same.

I am so loving it. That girl seemed familiar so i stopped the drama n googled her. Well, she was in itaewon class, felt glad to see her. I like how grounded the girl is , very average n yet so decent n no nonsense girl. I love her relationship with grandma too. Cant wait to see next episodes.
