You said exactly what I was thinking about a 6th scale possibility. We shall see. If Vanquish did release a 6th scale, I'd be a sucker and get one or two for sure.
Great job on this review! But I do have a question, you mentioned that it's a hobby wing ESC but do you happen to have any idea who makes that servo or what rebrand it is?
Great review...I had one shock leaking out of the box, and now that I used it one day on the trail for about an hour I have another shock leaking now....I contacted them and curious to see how they handle it!!
I'm currently in the final stages of building my Phoenix portal kit. Any idea who makes this colour grey? I've been trying to find something like this because it reminds me of Toyota's "Cement Grey".
Hey Chris, thx for your awesome vid! Btw where did you buy yours? I got mine from Amain Hobbies... Would you by any chance know if there are any European import companies/ RC Online shops where someone could buy products like Vanquish or Redcat...or let's say CrossRC? It's actually a bit costly with the extra customs fees...like more than 100 bucks like for most RTR Cars/ Trucks from overseas... What's your experience??? Thx in advance 🙏 and looking forward for more Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix Straight Axle RTR "Upgrades"... Cheers & Greets from Germany 👋
(1:40) ...(Joy) costs money. Not "every"- one, especially most RC enthusiasts can afford a NEW RC, (every video), nor are we "given" one, so remember that. 🤨 Life is hard, for most people right now, and "we", only have the golden opportunity to pull off a new sticker, off of a new toy once a year, if life goes "right" !!!! 💪🇺🇸
I’m not sure what you are trying to say. The RTR is a very valid offering for those who do not enjoy to build or paint, or even those new to the hobby. I think the more seasoned hobbyist gets more joy out of building a kit and adding their own electronics, possible connecting it to a radio they already own. Have a great weekend! 😊👍🏼
I've not been able to find the side bed panels I kp hearing I can add them ,how where ,I haven't found any I haven't even seen them anywhere ,how do I find them
Really interesting review, makes me interested in getting into crawlers. I’ve always been a little put off by the concept. I may invest! Always enjoy your videos great job 👏
If you do, this would be the rig to get. Great platform, I have a pro and a phoenix. Actually fun builds if kit are more your style but this rtr at this price is hard to beat
... So "what" is wrong with the concept !? - I am very curious. This RC Crawler segment is more about "detail" & focuses on "driving techniques", so I recommend test driving a standard stock crawler, (and) also a modified high quality version, a few times, before committing a minimum of (on avg.) of $500 to $800, to start. 🤔... - Let us know !! Thanks, Happy hunting !! ... Best hobby "ever" !!!! 👌 💪🇺🇸
@@paulschryer9571 I enjoy building more than taking them out. Currently building a 1/5 scale stadium truck. Nothing wrong with the concept it’s just no one that has really interested me before but after watching this series of videos I quite like the idea of building the kit rather than scratch building which is what I’m doing with the stadium truck
Now that's a cold open. Gave me shivers!
Plastic film gives me goose bumps. Must be in my top five favorite things along with cutting onions. 😂
I can’t unsee that opening. 😆 Great video Sir!
Right back at you my friend! I hope we get a chance to wheel together this year. 😃
Thank you for pointing out the radio, I thought looked familiar as well.
You bet! Thank you for stopping by!
Glad I had a spare pair of pants with that opening!
😂🙌🏼
I absolutely love your reviews Chris.
Glad you like them!
At least I’m not the only one who loves to do that! 😂🤣🙌🏼🙌🏼
Sign me up for doing that all day!
Very good review chris! Well, I’m only guessing…I can’t get past the first 10 seconds, so I’ll just vote based on that.
😂🙌🏼
Thanks Chris! Looks like a rig I need to start saving for. 👍✌️
You won't be disappointed!
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Love that body style
It’s striking looking, especially considering it’s not a licensed replica.
@@hemistormrc that's what I was thinking. Non lisenced bodies tend to look "off", but this is spot on
Sweet...
Thanks!
can't wait to see how you HemiStorm it.
You and me both!
Thanks for the review, sir. Hope we get to see you put the HemiStorm custom touch on that thing.
Will definitely see what can be done!
I think it would be awesome to see you customize this truck.
Will try my best!
Oh man that’s AWESOME! 🔥 Very cool! 👍😀👍 I can’t wait to see one in person at USTE! 🍻
Have fun at USTE!
@@hemistormrc Thank you so much man! I really appreciate it! I’m looking forward to going! 👍😀👍
🤣🤣🤣 I love that sound too...
So addictive!

That would be so fantastic, let’s cross our fingers!
GREAT video man. cant wait to see what you do with this one.
Thanks! 👍 I hope you’re well!
At least this is priced well. Just add 2 20/30usd servos and your battery! Maybe a portal version soon
I’m convinced there will be more ready to run offerings now that they’ve set the tone. 😊
Great video, liked and subscribed.
Awesome, thank you!

Good question and I do not have the answer. Yet! 😄
@@hemistormrc awesome for responding. i kust ordered mine!!!🔥

Are the holes drilled in the back cage already to attach the rear side panels ?

What charger are you using for this ? I just bought this RTR
Will the hw fusion pro 2in1 fit into this without any issues
Requires a bit of sanding on the skid.

Go for it! This is a really great option to start exploring this segment of the hobby. I can highly recommend visiting some events too.
