Woo was stressful to watch. Jada's character was so toxic. Probably why it wasn't a big hit. It's rarely shown these days. Jada nor Tommy ever discuss it. Great review.
We had this movie on vhs as a kid I watched this at least 15 times 😂 but I realized a lot of people didn’t know what woo was 😂 and the soundtrack is good! Like most black movies from the 90s!
the only mistake this movie made was how little screen time Dave Chapelle got I bet my savings if he had more scenes Woo would be talked about way more. I personally love the movie the script is fun and hilarious
BTW: Back in the day, there was a video store called VIDEO CHARLES, near the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Mall. When they moved deeper in the hood, they changed their name to BLACKBUSTER. I rented THE SPOOK WHO SAT BY THE DOOR there. Try reviewing THAT movie!
It tripped me out when my brother told me about Tommy after seeing him in Vegas. He said Tommy is far from the character he often plays. Nowhere near corny, said he had a crew of bad bitches with him, moving like "Dat Nigga". Woulda never guessed it
I used to watch this movie over & over when I was a kid.... and ended up being a tarot card reading, astrology, super social, man teasing "crazy" btch just like her 😆 life is just more fun on the edge 🤷🏾♀️💛🥰. Love me some "Woo"
I saw this movie in theaters with my brothers. I thought it was okay in my opinion. Tommy Davidson said that Will Smith threatened him during the filming of this movie. Fun Fact: Romaine who was played by Michael Ralph is the brother of Sheryl Lee Ralph. Can we please get reviews on the following movies that Jada Pinkett Smith & Tommy Davidson has been in & movies that were released in 1998: A Low Down Dirty Shame The Inkwell How Stella Got Her Groove Back The Players Club Caught Up Bamboozled
18:48 SO ON POINT!!!! @ayonatheartist is fine ASF!!! #getatme Woo is so gahdamn underrated homz!!!! I used to watch this on VHS #1999 back2back... still love it!!!! #bigsleeper Oh yea Blackbusters... More 90's films recommended... Ride (1998) with Malik Yoba, Fredro Starr, Guy Torry, Sticky Fingaz, Snoop Dogg, Lady of Rage etc I ALWAYS SAID THIS MOVIE NEEDS LIGHT FRFR!!! #bigazzsleeper Light It Up (1999) Boomerang (1992) Livin Large (1991) A Low Down Dirty Shame (1994) Senseless (1998) House Party 3 (1994) Booty Call (1997) The Glass Shield (1994) Mo Money (1992) In Too Deep (1999) Blue Streak (1999) Fresh (1994) Don't Be a Menace (1996) How To Be a Player (1997) SO MANY TO NAME!!!!
The bootleg was funnier than the theatrical release. There were jokes that seemed incomplete in the theater because it was set up in the other version. The bootleg with Isaac Hayes and Pam Grier made more sense.
Yes originally I think woo parents was supposed too appear in the Final Cut of the movie but they cut her parents out the movie would have made more sense if the parents appeared
A good one to check out is The Glass Sheild. Not a black movie per your discrimination but one definitely worth a look. I think it was Ice Cubes 2nd movie.
I'm gonna keep it buck, this was NOT a good movie. I watched this like once or twice on VHS when it came to rental but I remember not liking it. 🙅🏿♂️🤣😅😅😂
This movie is trash with mad celebrities . Woo had no redeeming qualities besides being beautiful . I hate the 90’s troupe of the smart educated man being lame or a buster in your terms . This was movie i saw the preview of and was like im good lol .i watched it because i love the podcast and wanted to catch on the movie i didnt see so i can watch the rest of the pod cast .
Low Dirty Shame is a classic that needs to be reviewed
It’s gonna be! I see it
Y’all got the right one to co-host for “WOO” !!!!
I’m watching all her skits lol
Woo is super toxic and destructive who almost got Tim killed multiple times
Interesting how closely Jada seems to be just like.....nevermind.....too obvious
Yo I laughed through this so much bc I kept thinking of when Big Jah knocked her ass out in that skit.🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂 what skit called u remember???
Please review "A thin line between love and hate "
Next Black buster review: Caught Up, In Too Deep, How to be a player
Man how to be a player changed my life. I started cheating in the 4th grade since then
@@lamar679 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Caught Up is my shit! Sleeper hit!
@@lamar679 that’s bad influence which is the reason that movie is Rated R 😂
@@karatekoala4270 Caught Up is mad underrated!

Great review.
I used to mistake Booty Call for Woo all the time lol took awhile to realize I never watched Woo lol
Same here! Tommy Davidson play the same kind of dude kinda in both of them movies plus they were a year apart with the colored 90’s suits 😂
@@91Definite exactly! And Booty Call is a better movie imo anyways so no loss there lol
26:19. On the real, what was she doing with the cop in the back room?! He came back hella smiling! They never address this!
She had to do something 😂
The soundtrack had some fire on it. We would not have had Adina Howard’s “T-Shirt & Panties” if it wasn’t for that soundtrack.

🤣🤣🤣 “I’m running thangs, ha I’m running thaaangs” Hop thought he had mo’ game than EA sports

37:45 defend her enough? He just met her and she came in being hella rude and presumptuous!
Great content yall can we get "Do the right thing" next ??
This podcast is so awesome
38:30 Tone.... Brotha Tone.... Stop it. This kind of chick is NOT what Michelle Obama was talking about. Don't encourage this simp behavior.
Woo was off the chain. The fellas were hilarious the awkwardness of hop at the club barking. Hop asking if Celestial was wearing a trash bag.
Please do Spike Lee's "Bamboozled"..
I always wanted to see that movie!
It tripped me out when my brother told me about Tommy after seeing him in Vegas. He said Tommy is far from the character he often plays. Nowhere near corny, said he had a crew of bad bitches with him, moving like "Dat Nigga". Woulda never guessed it
“Boomerang “
@0:51 Is @ayonatheartist "Little Miss SLAP Girl" from THE LESBIAN HOMIE? How does your jaw feel, Bigg Jah?
After hearing yall take on Woo's character I definitely want to see yall do a review on Kerry Washington character Nikki Tru on I Think I Love My Wife
This is a good one.
Yo these episdoe can easily be 2hrs based on the movie, guests and outlooks. Love this show.
I love her. Again this Christmas for Christmas week
Ay big Jah & Tone gotta add best scene and worst scene to the awards
Y’all should do sprung next
I need Ayona fine self in my life 😭
This was the first movie I remember them calling her Pinkett-Smith.

I can’t figure out which movie jada looked at her best. Low down dirty shame, woo or jasons lyric!
Y'all really out here here giving "Woo" 4 fists?! You full of it!
Next gotta be Friday or Players Club
Friday is a legendary movie but same time I get tired of it 😂

B.E.T showed it and it was great. I ordered a dvd years ago and never received it
You serious?! Try on EBay this time!
@@91Definite that was Amazon. I actually loved the movie tho

Definitely could go for a Woo2 or a Woo revisited. Best Film Review Podcast Period.
I don’t think a sequel could happen but I feel like if it is a remake? I can see Cardi B playing Woo! Maybe Glo-Rilla or Teyana Taylor
Bring Ayona and Jae back soon
Their explanation of two groups of people when it comes to this movie is the reason that it’s not a Blackbuster. 🤷🏾♂️
Speaking on Ll cool j they need to do In too Deep , Love it , love it , llove it lmao 😅
Don’t be a menace gotta be reviewed
Chicago Stand Up ✨🔥
Have I been sleeping on this podcast? Wtf?!
Ayona is very beautiful, you need to have her on more. She crack me up with that laugh.
I thought the truck driver said he had no brakes when he smashed the Vette at the end.
Next 1 should be Fresh or crooklyn
Aw hell yea. This my shit right here boy.
Shawty voice made me cut it off 🤣
I'm glad you guys like it, because I know I didn't. And haven't watched it since it came out.
Y’all gotta do Killing Season starring Cam💯
No guy older than 29 wants a woman out in the streets like that.
Like woo just not sure it’s a classic to the standard of the other movies you guys reviewed so far
Woo was an entire mess. 😂😂😂😂
Gotta do Low Down Dirty Shame
