They love each other on so many ways. We will never know why it didn't work out... Only time will tell them if they're meant to be together. Sometimes life just takes on different directions.

Of course they love each other! How could they not! But they were wise enough to keep it on a professional level! They will reconnect when they have gone through two other marriages and realize they were meant to be together! 💕

The problem was not Scott . Everything indicates that it was Tessa who did not want to establish a relationship with Scott with a view to a future marriage. And, as Scott wanted to start a family, he took another path and married another girlfriend.
As Tessa stated in a podcast after 2018 Olympics and touring. That it took her a while but she understands that no one will come between them and she is proud to be supportive of his journey and they both are aware that they are only a phone call away from each other. He has her unconditional love and knowing she's close should he feel a need to reach out to her.
I've NEVER seen a man look at a woman like that before in REAL LIFE.....there is something there in his heart for her that time itself can never surpass.....
They are literally soulmates

The chemistry of these two on the ice just captures everyone watching's emotions.
Amazing that they have skated together for so long and yet no wedding bells....

I've become obsessed again with these two after the news that Tessa is pregnant now with her first baby with Morgan Reilly. I had always thought her and Scott would retire together and end up with each other, but it appears this is not the case. Either way, they were an amazing pair, both with their accomplishments and their chemistry on the ice. They made the sport of ice dancing a beautiful work of art.
They are two wonderful, elegant and romantic pair the skating world have ever produced. As for me they will be remembered as the best ice skating dancers of all time. The way they executed beautiful, excellent and unique steps as they sway and glide with their facial expressions of love and tenderness with one another is one memory worth remembering. During past performances I am overwhelmed with joy when I saw Scot handle Tessa with so much affection and tenderness. But then they are the best of friends no more no less and as a fan I should be contented with it. Watching from Philippines.
I hope they remain close friends.

His hands on her body - The way that she looks at him - how he often ends saying 'you okay?' The trust there is unbelieveable with some of her moves - sorry but it won't compare to another relationship either of them have. I know they are not together but how can they be with anyone else and measure it up to - this? Impossible. Thanks for this compilation (especially the off-ice practices and dancing they do behind the scenes)!
I really hope they're happy with where they are now 💔 because I can't imagine finding my soulmate so early in life and then having to walk separate paths even though we're under the same sky.

Awww, well unfortunately that is sometimes how soulmates work. Not together in certain parts of their lives and yet they are continually growing and learning from one another and being supportive of each other's growth and accomplishments, as well as being there when need be. Tessa said in an interview that Scott is only a phone call away and that she realizes that no one can break the bond they share.
The way these two fit in each other's arms...
I will never believe that they are not a couple. After all they are human and the way they dance together and look at each other is impossible to be fake. The main reason I think this is the way Scott looks at her. How can you be tihat close, ,holding each other the way they do and not feel anything for each othe. Also , what woman in this world be able to share their man like this. They are perfect together and why has this just recently been made public after all of these years?
Difficult situation. You can't be as close to another person as Scott and Tessa have been for 22 years, deliberately radiating chemistry, and expect a relationship with another person to work well. The other individual (I think her name is Jackie) would have to be a living saint not to be jealous of their relationship (which won't end just because either one or both marry someone else).
As much as I would love to belive this statement I really have to disagree. Scott is the dominant one in he and Tessas partnership. So he really sets the tone and the boundaries within their partnership. Tessa, being docile and not wanting she and Scott to be out of sync for any reason, respects those boundaries. And even if she didn't only one of two things would come of it and neither of those include a romantic relationship between the two of them. . .
I would have loved to see these two together just as much as anyone else who bought into the "love story" but the reality is, that's just not the reality. Although, I'd love to be wrong.
Then maybe tessa and scott should follow what Ellen told them marry other people but stay together

It IS a love story, one of the greats - just without sex (maybe!! LOL) The trust, friendship, and passion together as well as being partners since they were little kids... it's a beautiful love story.

I thought they had only considered themselves a couple for a very brief period in their early teens. I didn't believe it when I heard it - she flirts with him endlessly, and their chemistry is obvious and that's very difficult to fake. I have a hard time believing they are not romantically involved. Video compilations like this only make it harder to believe.

When fans watch T and S so involved with the hot chemistry they have portrayed on the ice and how they look at each other the hugs the kisses it is very hard to believe that they were never romantically involved. You would have to be a superhuman being to skate with each other for 22 years and never feel something. I just find it hard to believe that they are a platonic couple. You can't fake this chemistry this is real. They are the most recognized pairs skaters ever. Most pair skaters win the gold and just disappear from the public eye in a short period of time so what is the fascination with Tand S? What makes fans want them to be a couple so bad? Anyone have the answer?

Már a fiatalkori korcsolyázásukon látszik hogy nagyon egymásra tudnak hangolódni, mint mozgásukban, mint érzelmileg. Mivel annak amit csinálnak fizikai korlátai vannak, előbb utóbb meg kell találni a helyüket a korcsolyán kívüli világban is.

I watch this video and I just can’t believe it’s all a bunch of acting. I don’t get it ...and to tell you the truth if I was the other girl that he’s going to marry I would never feel secure at all with all these amazing videos showing the love between Scott and Tessa. How are you gonna live with that?! Every marriage has ups and downs in rocky times and he’s gonna look back at what he had with Tessa… At least that’s what would seem so to me.
I don't know if it was one of them or both of them, but somebody missed the brass ring as far as love goes. They caught it in the rink, though. There's just no one who can compare with that kind of magic. I hope they're both happy now.

When did Scott ever skate with any other girl? He said they had been together since they were 7 ad 9 years old. I have never seen him skate with any other person.
His current wife was his first skating partner before Tessa. Tessa and Scott met when they were 6 and 8 but didn't start skating together until he was 9 and she was 7. So, he probably skated with his now wife when he was 8 or even before that! Who knows.

Scott asked her to marry him and she wasn’t ready. She is finishing a degree and wanting to try life outside of skating. Try dating. He just could t wait for her and looked to someone else. In response, she said in an interview, “and this happens.” Meaning his engagement. She was upset. The women he’s engaged to was in another marriage and left her husband. Not good. This just stuff in read online so...I’m praying for them because I believe they were meant for each other, but people do silly things instead. We will see.

I think Tessa set the boundaries at early stage of their career, Scott patiently kept the promise, but at the end temptation took over , he met up with his old girl friend . Tessa got backfire ! You can see Scott’s look in close up at videos , also Tessa’s look , how can they denied that love ! when they both explained their relationship at all the interviews are never convincing…… they tried very hard to distance themselves , but watch those videos at close up at the end of the dancing or off stage , those are true feelings !!
I watch many other great dancers , none of them have that kind of body language !
