Experiment 1 - this was first performed In 1821 by Hans Christian Oersted. Through this experiment Oersted established that an electric current produces magnetic field
Experiment 2 - this was performed in 1831 by Michael Faraday. Faraday established the opposite fact; Changing magnetic field produces electric current in the conductor placed in this magnetic field
The effect seen in Experiment 2 was called Electromagnetic Induction by Faraday. Faraday also formulated two laws of Electromagnetic Induction
