I totally sympathise with the peri menopause weight gain and the stuffing things in the back of the wardrobe! I lost a lot of weight on a diet and KS stuff that I had in my wardrobe I couldn’t wear suddenly looked good. It’s like discovering a whole new wardrobe!
remember that the menopause itself can also make you feel worse about the menopause kilos. cause, from what i've seen in this video, honestly even for someone in their 20s or 30s your body would be goals, forreal

When you mentioned 'perimenopause', my heart went out to you because I'm struggling as well, specifically hot flashes that I never believed could be so bad. And I hear you about the weight gain as well! Great haul as always and "sympathies"!!!!!!!!
Goooddddd the perimenopause. I just hit 40 and it is for REAL. I’ve just accepted that I can’t get back down to my “goal weight” without starving and abusing my body. It’s so frustrating, especially when I have some gorgeous pants stuffed away that I may never fit into again.
It's really hard to accept isn't it?! I have so many beautiful items, I just want to wear them again. I feel like my body has betrayed me, & I also get really cross at myself for over indulging. It's a no win situation 😩🖤❤️

Even if we try to take care of ourselves the best we can, it’s like our bodies just want to say “it’s not enough.” I also deal with adult acne on top of it all, irrespective of my diet or skincare. It’s all such a hassle, especially when our closets have such wonderful key pieces that we keep around in hopes that we will someday be able to wear them again. 🖤
ooh nice, I always really appreciate you go in depth with the clothing reviews and it's not just a try on. Can't say I have any of their lace products but good to know the qualities good on them (recently purchased some homeware bits from them and the quality was SHOCKING. Next time I'm buying from Kate's instead of direct)

My normal KS size is XL but I’m finding that I’m ordering 2XL more frequently recently. I have the clingy spiderella dress and I love it! Accessorise away and I’m good to go! I also have the spider web leggings and the bootcut flares from ? the same collection, but the leggings get more use under skirts / dresses tbh. I’m sick to death of my GP blaming everything on the peri menopause- for the past 5-6 years. The most recent is a hideous little chapter of nightmares called VVA. Just when I thought brain fog and hot sweats weren’t problems enough 😮

I would love something like these with a floral mesh :) I gained 20 bs over covid and on my small bones, it doesn't look good. I'm doing my best to rethink what I am eating and lose the weight. You must be going through PM early as I'm mid 40s and still no symptoms as yet.
It sucks doesn't it!! I'm hoping now we are trying to treat it I'll start to feel a bit better, but there's so little research being done 😩🖤❤️
