I love going thru these little towns and seeing these old buildings and parks and things like this. Anything old just grabs my attention, so interesting! I live in Tennessee, about 3hrs or so from all these towns. I live in a really small town, back in the woods on a old country road.. no matter where you go, you can bet you'll see a dollar general😄 I'ts not unusual to see donkeys, horses and lots of coffee in the yards or even walking down the roads back where i live😆 We have A really small Amish community just a mile from our home. They have A large produce market where we get lots of homegrown veggies, jams, honey, etc. and our favorite.. pepper jelly😋 We've visited the Amish country in Ohio, super nice stores and shops with so many handmade items! Their quilts are amazing! So Is their food. We stayed in A cabin owned by the Amish and they did the cooking for us.. absolutely delicious!!🤤 Any food they make is outstanding! They cooked 3 meals a day for us, for 3 days. It was amazing! I know you enjoyed the things you purchased.. thanks for sharing, i enjoyed😊

I enjoyed this so much today! I think Kentucky is one of our most beautiful states. Good roads! Since it's a commonwealth they really take care of things. I have friends who live there and they love it. I've only been fortunate enough to drive through it and stay in a motel. That was in the 80's so I don't remember the names of the towns or motel that my husband and I stayed in. He was in the Army at the time and we were on our way to Colorado Springs after returning from Germany. I loved seeing the Amish market and everything they have. The scenery was beautiful today and I loved your commentary Rebecca!🐰🐇

I love the old bricks! Sorry the shops were closed. You would think they'd be open, since most people are off on that day.

Oh I hate when I find an antique shop I want to go to and it’s closed. We have a couple Amish markets nearby here in Virginia and enjoy going there. It’s so much fun antiquing if they are open🤣.

Penns store is there. You missed a treasure.
We seen the sign to their store we did not know if they were open. We will have to go back and check them out. They need to put a “ yes, we are open” on their sign out on the main road. Thanks for letting us know.
@@RebeccaRohrHomePenn’s Store is only open on Saturday. Sometimes other days if they have a special event.
