I was washing my coily natural hair before completely detangleing and definitely lost so much hair to removing tiny matting or dreds. I started dry detangleing a few months ago because of her advice and it has made my wash process much easier and my hair retention has improved. Also not blowing out sopping wet hair has helped my curl definition. I really appreciate her intelligence, focus and expertise on hair health.

I have to dampen my hair before I comb it out otherwise it will break off. Everything else you are doing is what I do. I use a good conditioner too.
I agree. I dampen my hair & use Pantene Leave-On Detangling Milk.
I never detangle while dry..causes more breakage ( was taught by curly hair professional expert "Moknowshair") gentle combing from my ends upwards
Maybe it just makes more sense for a client whose hair is straightened to detangle it dry, but I can’t see it being possible for someone with their hair in it’s curly state.

When I did some one on one training with Jośe Èber...... The most important trick he taught me was to always go through the hair and cut off all the points. When you leave points, the hair won't lay properly. You are so good gf. I'm hooked on your channel. 🤗 😘

I felt it too. I know for me, I have thick coarse hair and one of the reasons I stay out of hairdressers chairs is simply because it's a painful experience. I wear a TWA, that I maintain myself.

Wow with all of these videos there's definitely a ponytail breakage pattern, an inverted v shape - but what's the reason is it put up too tight ?
I am a master cosmetologist and what happens when you put up your hair in a ponytail where ever that spot is you want to place your ponytail on whether its on the right ,left, on top, or lower back of your head. So if you do not switch spots & keep using the same spot, well that spot will end up just like you see in the video because too much pressure on the scalp when the hair is being pulled up and sometimes so tight just so they can have the Chinese look with the face and eyes being stretch up usually that will give you poor blood circulation which will cause the hair to grow slowly and becomes unevenly just like this young lady's hair. And for some people once they hair never catches up they have to keep cutting just too keep it even with the shorter lenght.

Air dry is the best way to dry your clothes save money from using a dryer it runs on your bill.
I wish I lived somewhere with low humidity. My clothes are more likely to mildew before drying if I hang them out. :(
