    Cutting glass is easier than one would think. Score it, tap it, done! After you do it the first time you’ll wonder why you were so worried lol. It’s scary because the idea of shattering glass but I’ve cut thousands of pieces of glass and not one has shattered. You got this!

      Haha would be a fun project! I'd be open to it but I know Tanner generally isn't too into collabs, its just not how he goes about the content he puts out and I respect that!

    Get spirolina for food. You can get it at most health food stores. Just add a small pinch to the water.
    And congrats. Wish I still had my darts, but moved from America to Germany and wasn't going to try to ship them all here so I gave them to a good friend that started getting into darts the year before the big move. One of these day I will get back into them but till then I will just have to keep watching your channel for my dart fix.

    Great video! I breed a large variety of locales and only thing I’d add is try keeping a clean Petri dish in there and check once or twice a week. The reason you had difficulties is it appears you have multiple egg clutches on the same dish. If you stay on top of the dishes you’ll always have eggs at the same stage. I leave water in the dish (not covering the sacks but just touching). I also would’ve waited an extra day or two to pull them. Looks like one of those was sucked from its sack slightly early which can have a few adverse consequences

    I normally leave tads in the Petri dish for a few days after coming out the egg, they tend to act dead the first day or so, so I don’t move them to a cup for a few days. Just fill the Petri dish with water at the later stage of development! Also repashy soilent green is a great tadpole food. I use fish flakes with spurilina also. Good luck!

    Hey, I have 3 mourning geckos and recently all I’ve been able to spot is one of them, I’ve looked all over the cage and I can’t find them and there’s no way they could have escaped, any tips on what to do? It’s been a few days now. Update - I found one of them on a wall and they have escaped

    Hey Reptilliatus!, do you use RO water for misting all of your enclosures?, I'm getting a misting system soon and they told me to use distilled water or RO water for the misting system, at the same time I heard it's bad for reptiles and live plants since they lack the minerals, what do you think?

    • @Reptiliatus
      @Reptiliatus  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! Yes I do! Using tap water in misting systems results in the buildup of minerals (usually calcium) which eventually clogs your expensive system. R.O or distilled is the way to go. Most people use R.O and just make sure they are properly supplementing, especially because as you said, the water is devoid of any minerals. Hope this helps!

    • @bundun4074
      @bundun4074 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Reptiliatus I'm thinking of adding a water dish filled with mineral water, I wonder if the abronia lizard will be able to tell the difference between the two types of water, I'll also supplement them with calcium plus, it has all the minerals they need. But just to be sure, you had no problem using RO water before?
