This is one of those knives that when I initially saw it, I knew I had to get one. I went with the dark stonewash version and wow, it’s a fabulous addition to the collection!
I love this knife and imma get it. But the prototype they had a couple years ago with the exposed collar and the compound grind was so much better!!! What a shame 😢 they should’ve kept it that way!
PS: disassembly of this knife is extremely finicky. By far the most fascinating internals I’ve had on a Reate. Pivot collar is hiding a disk that allows for free floating bearings to be removed from the side. I dare you to open it 😉👀
