If you are sending to a mono amplifier (for example, for drum set), you can max out to six mic inputs. Two each in Ch 3,4 and 5,6. Be certain the sounds in each are similar for EQ purposes. In my example, the snare drum and highest pitched tom might be in Ch 3,4 while the floor tom and bass drum are in 5,6. Now turn up the FX level on those channels. Take a short 1/4” cable from the FX Send to the Aux Return Right input. The Right Main out will be your output to the amp. Channels 1 and 2 can operate in normal fashion. Be certain the Balance controls on those two are not all the way over Left.
As a beginning sound person I,m VERY happy with this tiny mixer. Sound is great and easy to use for audio play’s, recording phone calls and recording radio programms.I use a channel for the phone and use an Ipad that I use as soundboard for jingles and music.
Iustin Homoranu dunno..i use it fo recording phonecall and other recording(radio programms) and it’s a mixer not an amp...I can imagine that you transfer the stereo output to an amp.....
@@KumkumKat Hi K Kat I have my Ipad and a programme called soundboard. You can inport music and jingles into this program and play it by a touch on a button. Just connect the ipad with the mixer on a specific channel et voila!
That's an FX loop. There's no built in effects. You put your own effects (via a separate external unit) in the loop and the red FX dial just controls the amount of effect per channel.
You have your fx sent to a unit and then back through the rca ins? Is the volume controlled on the unit or by the aux in? I have the mixer, but not the cables. I may use a cheap reverb pedal and split the signal into rca’s. Im so cheap.
How do I get the FX working? Iv been messing around with it a little bit but everytime I turn up the FX nob nothing changes im assuming theres more to it than just that? I dont know.
You could record them In mono (technically) just pan one channell full left and one full right using the main stereo output, the split the signal afterward

Or explain anything in the video. Just says what the jack says it is on the mixer next to the input.
I wish you could have actually explained /shown how it works using your connections.
Not even gonna watch cuz this comment. Thanks for saving me timen
Was thinking the same. It was a poorly done video. Thought he would show this goes here , there etc etc. poor.

You cannot use two mics in each of channels 1 and 2. You can only use EITHER the XLR socket or the 1.4" socket in each.

does it have effects?
yes, but the effect will only work with xynex mic
The Behringer Xenyx 802 Does Not have built in effects.
No you have to use the FX send jack to send it to an effects pedal, and then feed it back in through the Aux input.
@@cryora the aux RCA?
@ I don't know what the RCA ports do but there are 6.35 mm ports that are labeled Stereo Aux Return, those are the ones I'm talking about.
