I Sorta knew she was a bit odd after she pulled a gun on chat mid debut but she tried really hard to be seiso mainly from not knowing how her chat would react. Only lasted about a week though.

Some Vtubers can keep up the saccharine facade and some can't. I'm glad that she feels comfortable being herself and hilarious.
Thank god she dropped the 3rd-person speech. It sounds so odd when English-speakers do that since it’s not a normal manner of referring to yourself in English. Between dropping the 3P speech and increasing the brain rot, Pippa infinitely increased her stream quality.
She's gone from absolutely adorable to, well,,, still adorable but based.
I'm convinced someone just really wanted to be a Vtuber and tracked down Pippa where she lived and just killed her to replace her.

It’s hard to tell which formula I like more. Old pippa was seemingly shy, humble and reserved. She seemed more interested in seeming seiso. Occasionally when she was pressed on things she was more deeply involved with or felt strongly about, it would seem like the vtuber facade would drop as she quickly spiraled into rants/debates about her hobbies and beliefs. The juxtaposition between her adherence to her seiso stage personality and her semi-frequent outbursts of either dorkiness or complete insanity made for a completely unique experience that almost felt like a parody of Vtubers in the mainstream.
New-age pippa, because of her exposure to the scene and success, is markedly less shy compared to how she once was. The adherence to the seiso personality seems to have lessened, as well. She realized that what caused her explosion of popularity WAS the rants, so she leaned into playing up that part of her personality.
Some people think it’s a good change, that it’s just more of a good thing. But I think there was something special about how rare the ranting and ravings were before. Because that side of her was shown rarely, I feel the moments we did see were more genuine since she wasn’t actively pushing for that “shock factor”.
I’m no pippologist, I’ve yet to attain my masters in pippology, so I couldn’t tell you if the change was truly for the better or not. This is just how I feel about the subject.

Pippa doing something she likes or enjoys presenting is always my favorite. Or, her discovering something has way more stream value / rabbithole value than she or chat realized. Hearing the old seiso voice underscores the constraints early Phase days and her early days as Pippa put on her. Much easier and more fun to let those go and enjoy her as she is these days.

As someone who only got into VTubers, Pippa in particular, late last year (2023), well into the New Pippa Era, I honestly don't think she would be my Oshi if I had discovered her during the early years.
Cutesy streamers are fun sometimes but my favourites now are Pippa, Lumi and Filian - which sets a pattern, y'know? Specifically, a pattern of chaos, violence and severe autism.

She is constantly gaining 1K subs every day since a month
